Loved the food - good selection of meat and sides and everything we had tasted fab?the fried chicken was definitely the best I'd had in a real long time and the mash & gravy was spot on? seems to be a hit with the locals as quite a few workers stopped in at the same time. Plenty of seating, very hospitable servers who were attentive and checked on us a couple of times. They have a good selection of bakery items and homemade condiments and pickles. Restrooms were clean. Highly recommend for the taste of the food and moreover, for the great value ?

Had an awful 1st experience. Gave it another shot. Saw some kitchen workers not using gloves. Mentioned it to the owner Brent. He didn't mind and was verbally rude to me.Food isn't good, prices are to high for the bad food.Avoid

My husband and I visited for the first time today. The food was good, but the portions were too small. I was just as hungry when I left as when I first walked in the door . That’s saying a lot because I eat very small portions anyway.We drove over 50 miles due to friends recommendation. I was disappointed. I will not go back or suggest others to visit.

Paid $7 for a no meat entree that was not fit to feed a dog. It taste awful and the restaurant does not look like it’s been open long on the inside

We were a little early for Sunday lunch. It's cafeteria style. Fried chicken is always good and the roast beef so tender you only need a fork. The bakery wasn't open. We'll have to catch them sometime when its open, I love their breads and rolls.

This place must have changed hands because it has surely gone downhill. The portions are small and the quality of the food is poor. The prices are too high for what you get. We used to go here on occassion, but I don't think we will go back. Your better off going to a fast food place if you at least want some average tasting food. The chicken was dry and the ribs looked like just bones. The buns were hard as rocks. I can't believe they even served stuff like this. Skip this place, really.

Fried chicken and Macaroni cheese so good! The fresh rolls are fluffy and buttery, yum! Chipped BBQ is not very good, so keep this in mind. It is a Southern Home Cooking eatery which does not specialize in BBQ.Friendly staff and of course the bakery…oh, the bakery!

We were passing by on our way down to Florida and decided to stop to grand a bite. The chicken was delicious! The owner came to our table and tapped me on the shoulder and asked if everything was ok; that’s what I call southern hospitality! Totally recommend this place if you are in the area. Loved it!

Like eating here and they have a pretty good bakery side. Just good Ole down to earth people.

First time eating there food was very good. The restaurant was very clean.

We stopped on our way to the beach. This is always a stop for us. There was one employee that was rude. She didn’t want to serve us because my daughter wanted two chicken legs. She was upset saying no kid get two legs. I was like look we will pay for it. She continues to not want to fix the other plates again saying no kid gets two chicken legs. She was rude to all of party (9). The other servers and employees was amazing. I hate one rotten egg will ruin for others but we will not be back. The food was ok nothing amazing like usually is. I completely understand being understaffed and over worked in the pandemic world we are living in. But being plain rude about a child asking for a second chicken leg and parents being willing to pay for it was down right unnecessary.

First visit. Waitresses were great. Buffet food been sitting awhile so we opted to order from menu.. Menu not accurate - scallops still on it but they are no longer offered. Husband ordered grilled catfish that was not quite done & sautéed more than grilled. Will try again at lunch when buffet is fresh.

I gave this restaurant 2 star rating because the vegatables were tasty. Most vegetables were cooked with meat. Being a vegetarian,I got only 3 vegetables and a sprite the cost was $11.21. That's nearly $3 each small bowl. Leaving, I noticed the best prices were only with meat. The internet needs to be updated to close at 2pm instead of 3pm.
