One of the very best for Mexican food! We eat there often and the food is always great, so is the staff, Savannah is my favorite waitress!!! The atmosphere is really nice unless a loud party is going on which has been the case a couple of times.
The waitress was amazing and attentive but the enchiladas weren't heated through and the rice was dry.

I’ve been to El Maguey a few times now - it’s definitely the best Mexican restaurant in the area. I’ll drive to Wrens for food over going to the many options in Grovetown.Service - most visits it’s average. But, I will say we did have a party of 13 once, we called ahead and they had everything setup before we got there. Waitress handled the table by herself and did a very good job. Food came out together and was hot.Food: overall average but they have a few good items that are amazingly authentic. Their chorizo is the best around, hands down. The fiesta dip is also very good and I’ve never had it elsewhere. I did have birria a few weeks ago and honestly it was kind of flavlorless which was deeply disappointing. They do have a selection of street tacos which are very good, but unfortunately you can’t mix and match so you’re stuck only getting to try one of the same taco (3 per order).Price: fair for the quality of food and compared well to other restaurants.

I had stopped here for a service call. I had to go back to the kitchen area. In all my years of service work, I have never seen a kitchen so cleaned and organized. I will definitely eat there any time I’m in Wrens.
