We stopped at Peggy's for lunch on during a trip and don't regret it. This is a no nonsense restaurant with good homemade country food and a friendly staff. The fried chicken and sweet potatoes are top notch! We'll be going back!

Do not let the outside of this humble restaurant keep you from stopping. This is a bustling community hub filled with all kinds of folks enjoying excellent down-home cooking. Their fried chicken is exceptional and their sides are done right. We left with full stomachs and smiles on our faces. We will make a point of stopping in here to eat any time we are reasonably close by. It is a great place with good food for fair prices!

My buddy and I were traveling through Wrens, Georgia yesterday. I saw a mom and pop dinner called Peggy's. I wanted a burger bad. Once in we found out their cook had to leave. So we almost did but my buddy lived the buffet they offered. So I checked it out and saw one of my favorites, beef tips and rice. So we stayed. Thank God we did. I ordered the tips with macaroni and cheese and black eyed peas. Wow was it good. The service was great and the price was low. I get home to North Carolina and my parents knew the same place and had the same awesome experience. Highly recommend!

We took a chance on Peggy's as we passed through Wrens on our way to Helen GA and we were so glad we did! The buffet was excellent! The staff and everyone was so nice. There rating needs to be a 5!

This is legit Southern food. I stopped here randomly on a break from a long drive, and Peggy’s Restaurant made my day. Delicious food, cafeteria style. No fuss. Get a large plate, you will want to try as many sides as you can. The chicken is A+
