If you want good food and service, this is your place. It is simple down-home cooking served in a buffet style. Of course, they still have short order menu options. The only disadvantage is parking since it is a very popular place.
My 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren ate here on December 28, on our way from South Georgia to South Carolina, and this was the best country restaurant food we have ever had!!! The fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, black eyed peas, lima beans, and sweet potatoes were excellent. They have a small cafeteria, so you can get your food quickly, and see what it is before you get it. Earlier on our trip it took 2 hours to eat at 2 other restaurants, but not here! The restaurant appears...
Great place to pop in and eat. Everyone was so friendly! Walk in, and go up to a buffet style counter and tell them what you want. I'll warn you now, it was real hard to narrow it down to 3 choices (I done a Veggie plate) because everything looks and smells absolutely delicious!! Food was fresh, hot, and the portions were huge! Very satisfied with my visit!
