I highly recommend this place and get the Guava Margarita! You can thank me later ;) My husband and I dropped in for a late lunch/early dinner so the restaurant was rather empty but that was fine with us. The staff is very friendly and ready to offer suggestions. We started with mango margaritas (on the rocks, no salt) while we perused the menu. They were delicious! Refreshing and well balanced; not too sweet and not too tequila forward. My husband ordered the plate with three types of enchilada. He was very happy with his selection. I had a combination plate with a chicken enchilada and pork tamal. The masa was so creamy and fine in texture that it reminded me of polenta. I was equally as happy as the hubs with my meal. BUT we decided to order one more margarita to share and when the waitress suggested the Guava Rita, my husband was sceptical but I was excited. I LOVE guava jelly (p.s. I'm Southern). This guava margarita will keep me coming back!

Service wasn’t the best. Our waitress seemed like she didn’t want to be there. We ordered a michelada & a frozen strawberry margarita. They both weren’t very good. The food overall wasn’t the best. It had little flavor.

This USED to be our favorite place. In fact, we would pass three Mexican restaurants to dine here. However, it has quickly gone downhill. Strike 1- Incorrect drink. Three times. Strike 2- Super long wait and incorrect food. Terrible service. We tried again, because it is great food..... Strike 3- Our chips had been resused. How do I know this? They were at the bottom of the basket and covered in salsa. GROSS.
I sincerely hope they can get it together. When they first opened, it was top notch!

Wonderful service from all staff especially our waiter Oliver who helped up in both Spanish and English. Food was great! I’m a salsa snob and I can say that this was the BEST ever. Made fresh by the chef. We will return even though it’s a 4-hour round trip for us! Hiawassee environment is absolutely beautiful, too!

We came in with a group of 6 for lunch on a Sunday and service was quick and food came out quick. It was definitely busy but the servers were great. Everything was hot and delicious. Lunch portions were large and prices were great!
