Can’t say enough about how nice the owners and staff are at this restaurant. I unknowingly showed up right at closing time with two starving boys! We had time to kill before their haircut appointments. They were kind enough to seat us and feed us anyway! Really made our day and I would highly recommended eating here. This day and time it’s hard to find kind folks like this. On top of that the food was amazing to boot! French toast platter was delicious! Thanks again Smoots!
If you're looking for a home style meal without the momentous effort you'd need to make it yourself: this is the place.Their biscuits are amazing, and pair perfectly with the sausage they make. I believe they received their recipe for the sausage when they bought the place that was originally made by Pierre Sullivan: a local legend that served breakfast to our community for decades, and with a sausage recipe that's just as legendary.
We recently did a staff retreat in the area and chose this spot as one of our eatout meals for breakfast one more. Wow! If I’m ever in the area again I’m 100% going again and we seriously thought about trying to extend our stay so we could come back to try the lunch menu on a different day. Our group of 12 were so well taken care of by our servers Belle and Katlyn. They were so nice, friendly, attentive, and helpful in their service throughout. I always think it’s unique...
