This is a nice small restaurant ran by the owner. She takes her time and makes each meal fresh. Be prepared to wait. Serving sizes are huge. We enjoyed the açaí bowl and smoothies. Kids liked their sandwich as well.

I got a açaí bowl and oh my gosh, it was truely delicious. It had the most perfect amount of sweetness with delicious fruit chunks. I then got the lilikoi amazing. it was sparkling, sweet and just so perfect. We had to get seconds of it!!! The crepes where also amazing, we tried 3 different ones and they all where delicious. Wish we could eat there every day of our lives! So refreshing to go to a restaurant where you can tell they care about customers health while makeing the most delicious food. If you want a healthy delicious place, come here!

I have always loved their roll. It is far from downtown kona but worth the drive (20 to 30mins depending on the traffic) located by Choicemart in Captain cook. Food is made as it is ordered so be patient. Try the butterfly tranquility roll, love always wins, pesto roll, heart roll.Acai bowl are also delicious. Fruits are fresh and organic. Soup of day varies and it is yummy.

The price was fair and the portions were generous:) The fruit was exceptional! This place is a true gem and worth the stop. We went twice in a few days because we enjoyed it so much .

Fabulous vegan food, in an area that does not have a great choice of healthy food. I am not a vegan, but I like to eat mostly a plant-based diet and Barefoot was like an oasis for me. The rice-wraps were terrific and the live breakfast wrap was delicious. If your shopping at the adjacent supermarket, treat yourself to this place.

This place closed down for a while during COVID and now is open back up in a new location. And thank God. It was by far my favorite restaurant in Kona before and it still is now. The food is so great and nutritious and they give you so many wonderful veggies that are hard to find in Hawaii and unlike most places that use bad fats, here they use coconut oil The amount of food they give is well worth the money because they hook it up! The people that work there are super nice and it is truly some of the most soul satisfying food ever. It's like a home cooked meal by your mom who just happens to be a vegan gluten free professional chef. I highly recommend to anyone. Please support than and give it a try. Wife and I are visiting and have been trying all the plant base options served here on the big island. We loved the food at Barefoot. Everything from the fruit to the main course seemed extremely fresh and of higher quality then we expected. The owner Tess was also very generous with her time. She spoke to us about her passion for food. We just loved the entire experience.

I greatly enjoyed the Hawaiian bowl. Interesting, and very Hawaiian, set of toppings including purple sweet potato and poi. Plus a mountain of banana and granola on top.

Just happened upon this spot! Was making a stop at the choice mart and followed the amazing smells! The price seemed a bit steep but we ordered anyway. The prices made so much sense when they brought out the food! Two people can easily eat on 1 bowl! We ordered the paradise bliss smoothie and It was amazing. When they made it they made too much and they gave us the extra which amounted to basically a whole other smoothie! We also got 2 dragon fruit bowls and a green goddess crepe. We clearly were not prepared for the serving size! The crepe was filled with beautiful vegetables and an amazing vegan pesto! If you are dairy free, vegan, or just like really tasty food that is healthy, this is a MUST STOP AND TRY!!!!!

Barefoot Zone is a must!!! My family and I are visiting Kona and have been to Barefoot three times in six days! Everything is absolutely delicious and so beautiful! I highly recommend the Pesto Quesadilla, I could eat the pesto by the spoonfuls! I will miss this place so much when I'm back in Arizona.
