Wonderful staff and so welcoming. Free tour with tasting (a couple varieties free and others for a small fee). We learned a ton about coffee and even got to try some local tea. The geckos love the coffee cherries too!

On an island where everything cost a fortune, it’s nice to have a free tour! I decided to arrive early and do a French press flight. Highly recommend the Geisha and the Red Bourbon if you’re into fantastic light and medium roasts. Release those flavors and polyphenols for your health!

Amazing tour! Marisa was very knowledgeable, patient, and fun. The farm is beautiful and the coffee is delicious. We got a half flight (honey, Red bourbon, and natural) and we loved all of them! We would go back!
Also loved watching the cute geckos licking the coffee beans!

Very cool place to visit. GREAT experience. Amazing coffee to try and unique. You can try multiple coffee blends and roasts off of samples from a French press. It is made there and extremely fresh. In my opinion natural, peaberry, and SL 34 were the best ones to try. OVERALL great coffee and experience.

Sabrina presented eight of us with the story of Kona coffee, the story of its life cycle through growth, pruning, harvest, and different processing methods, and a description of other types of coffee grown here. She presented with authority and enthusiasm and captivated our attention from start to finish. Very well done!

Overall, we had a great experience at Hala Tree Coffee. The staff were engaging and funny. We went on the complimentary coffee farm tour and the paid brewing course. Both tours were fun and informative. We learned so much information about the processing of growing, producing, and brewing coffee.

I think what stood out about these tours was the friendly staff. Kat and Margaret took great care of us and were so funny.

I love that the coffee store had trial-sized bags for the adventurous souls who want to try all the flavors. The small bag also makes perfect souvenirs for the coffee connoisseurs in your life.

I scheduled this outing as a surprise for my husband and they did not disappoint. He was thoroughly amazed with all they taught him about their property, coffee and all they do. Almost 6 weeks out and he is still chattering to anyone that will listen about Hala Tree.

Admittedly, he went a bit overboard on buying your coffee, but it has been such a treat to enjoy in the morning. I will be very surprised if he doesn't order more, when we eventually run out.

Thank you for making his trip so memorable.
