Had my first pork lau lau here. I am not going to claim to be an expert on Hawaiian food or lau lau, but I am an expert on pork. It was absolutely delicious. Pig was tasty and juicy. Portion size was more than enough. I enjoyed my dining experience here 100%. Thank you very much for serving us!! My only advice/suggestion... scale down the menu and focus on your most popular, best sellers. Huge menu must mean big food costs for a tiny little place!

We went to check mart to get some grocery and found this place and decided to eat without checking reviews since we were super hungry. One is garlic shrimps and the other one is laulau. The shrimps were very fresh. My boyfriend loved the pork a lot. They give you a big portion. We'll definitely go back the place again but some of the reviews rated very low, I wonder what is happening this place.....

We got a few plates to share. The portions were big but everything tasted very very good. We found a quiet table overlooking the highway and the valley and coast. Very memorable! Note that this is a small stand inside a strip mall between Ace and Choicemart. No inside seating. Takeaway only.

We just got home after eating at Da Bomb Grindz II, I believe it was called. It's the one by the Ace Hardware so I think there's another Da Bomb Grindz near there. Neither of our orders had the ingredients as advertised we feel. The fish tacos came in a cold soft tortilla and had only chopped onions (tons) and some tomatoes with sauce. Slaw was listed, but I don't think onion and tomato counts as slaw. Three tacos for $16 with chips was a fair price, we thought. Our other order was honey walnut salmon. We never found a single walnut, but maybe they were crushed up in the sauce. Usually you can tell if nuts are present and we could not. Cold fish with a mostly onion taste with onion flavored chips was not enjoyable at all. The women who were working there were not friendly. We are sorry we went and spent our hard earned money there.

Came by recommendation. The place itself is small with few tables, so we ordered to takeaway. We ordered Kalua Pork Nachos and Chicken Quessedila, and worth the price. Portion is big, fresh, no problem with it. Extra point for hot spicy Jalapeno.Really recommend to try the shakes as well, favourite was the Peanutbutter-Banana milk shake, fantastic. Parking is available, as it is located in a supermarket, sadly, that defines the "vibe" as well.

Love their delicious kalua nachos with unagi sauce and melted cheese. What a winner! Great snack that easily fills the two of us.

Dry kalua pig, the only moisture was the chili soy sauce I added. The rice was okay.My wife’s fish tacos were either old fish or super dry fishy pieces.Service was meh.$35 and my wife didn’t eat more than 1/2 of one of the three gross rubber fish tacos.I figured with all the good reviews and their name it would have been better. Learned my lesson.

Decent hole in the wall snack shack! The kiddos wanted some shaved ice and milk shakes so we stopped by after snorkeling. The little one ordered a small watermelon shaved ice, the older kiddo ordered a nutter butter milk shake and we also ordered a kalua nachos. The small watermelon shaved ice was a pretty good size, both of the kids couldn't finish it and it was tasty, they enjoyed it. The older kid enjoyed his nutter butter shake with macnut ice cream as the base, they were out of vanilla and cookies and cream flavors but he said it was good none the less. The kalua pork nachos were fine, a bit more on the sweeter side with the shoya and hoisin sauce, they asked if we wanted cheese and of course we wanted cheese because it's nachos but it wasn't melted cheese it was shredded unmelted cheese, which was a bit odd. Overall, we killed it because the kalua pork was tasty but maybe I was expecting it to be more of a savory dish not sweet. If we're in town and close by, we'd probably stop by for the shaved ice and smoothies/milkshakes.

I've been here a few times and been disappointed every time. First time I got the Kalua pig nachos. Not enough meat for the amount of chips and was very bland. I got the rib eye last time I went maybe 2 weeks ago and was very disappointed in the portion for the price. Again very bland. And to add the counter lady isn't very nice and doesn't even smile. Won't be back again.

I had the hamburger steak. Very delicious and handmade patty was enormous. I could only eat half of the plate. Their 2 scoops of mud pie ice cream before the plate lunch were amazing as well and probably had a lot to do with me not finishing my lunch.
