Arrived towards the end of the shift, but still had time to thoroughly enjoy our pork chops and butter fish, the fish melted nin your mouth and the chips were just like my grandmother made with a great gravy. Waitress was very diligent and friendly, the great thing is that the sides arrive almost Immediately so you can munch on them whilst waiting for the main course. So glad we managed to make it only open Wednesday through Saturday currently so plan accordingly.
We ordered the pork chops for lunch and it was eye popping as in huge portions!
Lei and Melia were warm and friendly. Really nice folks.

A true gem. Butterfish with miso is pan seared and amazing. Beef teriyaki is lean and flavorful. Pork chops were unreal good - and I don’t even like pork.
Simple food but good quality ingredients. And the history and simplicity of the place makes it a rare gem.
