Amazing views! They have coffee and brunch. We got some lattes and americanos. But the place was crowded so we couldn’t get a table. I recommend making a reservation! Friendly staff.

Hard to find parking during peak hours. But good views even next to the entrance.

We were welcomed with the most beautiful seat in the house. Stunning views, wonderful coffee, and delicious traditional Hawaiian breakfast.

Such a cute cafe. They serve breakfast, lunch, brunch. The view was magnificent -even though there was a down pour. There was a a wait for about 25 mins. They have the best key lime pie. The Reuben sandwich was also delicious. We would come back for a clear view.

Great view. Food is good. Their “mascot” is entertaining.

You have to try the deserts. Especially the lilikoi cheesecake and cream pies.

Since it was a Saturday, we expected it to be crowded, but we had to leave the beach we originally planned to visit earlier due to high surf, so we decided to stop by. Luckily, we were able to get seated right away at a patio table near the entrance.

We ordered the Hawaiian French Toast ($14), the Saturday Omelette Special ($21), 100% Kona Coffee ($5), a Latte ($6), and for dessert, the Lilikoi Cheesecake ($7.50). The prices felt very reasonable—not overly touristy—which was a pleasant surprise.

The open-air setting with sweeping ocean views made for a wonderfully relaxing breakfast. A small, bright green gecko visited our table and the nearby pillar, adding a touch of island charm to the experience.🌿🦎

This cozy and popular breakfast spot is perched on a hillside along Highway 11 in Captain Cook, and parking can be a bit limited. Seating includes patio tables near the entrance and covered tables further inside along a narrow walkway. If you're passing through the area, it's definitely worth a stop—especially if you can arrive early to beat the crowds.

Got put on the list and told it would be an hour wait. 2 hours in we were told we’re second on the list. Another 30 minutes go by and we approach the desk and are told we were called. We were standing outside the door the entire time and did not send us a text. Lady at desk laughed and said “sorry” sarcastically. Wasted our whole morning.

This is a hidden gem! Fantastic food. Not enough parking! We had a half an hour wait but it was completely worth it.

This place was absolutely amazing. Parking spaces are limited but the food was amazing and the view was spectacular. I got the coconut cream pie and carrot cake to go. For breakfast I had their Popeye special which was an omelette with spinach, mushrooms and onions. It was absolutely amazing with mozzarella on top. Had the fruit dish as the side and the iced honey latte iced coffee to drink. Top Notch. I will definitely be back.

It was hard to get a table / coordinate with the hostess on how long it would actually take which made it really hard to fit into a precious vacation itinerary. It was a bummer to learn that once we were finally seated, we had missed the breakfast menu that our group was looking forward to. Had lunch instead and it was ok - the ono sandwich was good but the pizza wasn’t great.

Great people, amazing food, and beautiful views! Had the best breakfast in Kona side at the Coffee Shack :) The staff is very friendly and love their Aloha spirit! Glenn and team are very kind and they even helped me get my bag back that I mistakenly forgot at the coffee shack in one of my trips. Definitely recommend to checkout this place!
