Coffee was delicious! Took some home with me and reminds me of beautiful HI every morning. Can I order some to be shipped to the mainland??

The South Kona Fruit Stand is a delightful little stop that celebrates the bounty of Hawaii’s local agriculture. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff, who are always eager to share their knowledge about the fresh produce and homemade treats on offer. Their warm hospitality truly enhances the experience, making you feel like a valued guest.

The standout feature of this fruit stand is its impressive assortment of locally grown fruits and vegetables. Everything is fresh, vibrant, and bursting with flavor, showcasing the best of what the island has to offer. Whether you’re picking up a ripe papaya, a bunch of sweet bananas, or some exotic tropical fruits you’ve never tried before, the quality is exceptional.

But the real star of the show is their pineapple carrot cake. This dessert is nothing short of exquisite—moist, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with a hint of tropical sweetness from the pineapple. It’s a must-try for anyone visiting the stand, and it’s easy to see why it has such a devoted following. Pair it with a cup of locally grown coffee, and you’ve got the perfect snack to enjoy on the go.

The South Kona Fruit Stand is more than just a place to buy produce—it’s a celebration of local flavors and community spirit. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this charming spot is well worth a visit. Don’t leave without trying that pineapple carrot cake—it’s a slice of heaven!

Always make it a point to stop by when I’m on the Big Island. Get a smoothie, a cookie, and buy weird fruit!

Skip the produce section at the grocery store and pick up your fruit here! Great selection of fruit, smoothies and baked goods. Super friendly staff who were happy to answer our questions, including how to tell when each fruit was ripe. Check out the different prepared items and desserts in the fridge, too.
