I was on a deadly serious mission to try this Pub's signature pastrami sandwich. Let me preface this review by saying that I'm from New York, so I KNOW pastrami! I'm gonna cut straight to the chase, sandwich broke da mouth 100%! I've honestly never had a pastrami on rye that even came close to being as good. Everything about it was perfect, but it was the way the beef was seasoned and cooked that really set it apart. It had the texture of a slow cooked pot roast that was thinly sliced and piled high. It was incredibly satisfying to the mouth with every bite.

And the pub was so cute and had such a welcoming vibe! I'd never been there before and was alone, but as soon as I sat myself down at the bar, Maile greeted me and we developed an instant rapport. She was an absolute doll and we had so much fun talking story and sharing laughs. I can't wait to return with my friends and family. I had such an amazing and memorable experience! A five star rating just isn't high enough!

Don't miss this gem tucked in the heart of Honoka'a - honestly one of the best meals we had on the island, and just a fantastic staff and atmosphere. They use local, hand picked ingredients and create food that is exactly how your mind is telling you it should taste. I honestly cannot recommend the Honoka'a Public House enough and you will miss out if you don't make a stop here.

Cool old building. Excellent sandwiches and the best service. Our waitress had the best laugh and such a genuine personality. Great meats on the different sandwiches. Highly recommend! What a nice town too!

Last place open in town on a Wednesday night at 6:30 PM. So glad we found this local place. We had pizza/beer and listen to local sing karaoke. Service is great, and you can taste the mozzarella on the pizza.

Such an amazing time! The bartender was so friendly and the pizza was some of the best pizza we've ever had... Nice little hole in the wall bar which gave us a chance to meet the locals which really added to the experience. Would definitely recommend the supreme pizza

The bartender was amazing and attentive! The bar itself was a cozy and nice public house with the right amount of space. Chalk in that they had live music playing all night. Honestly couldn't ask for better!

Got the White Dragon Pizza and Typhoon Tots. Both came out fast and we're fresh and hot and great flavor. Plenty of cheese and plenty of toppings on the pizza. Interesting flavor we enjoyed on the tots.

Great place. Smack in the middle of Honoka'a. Very kind staff makes you feel welcome and right at home.
They recently started carrying Wailuku Brewery, Stay Golden, which is one of the best beers I've ever had.
The Greek pizza was deliciously flavorful with just the right amount of toppings (honestly comparable to Rome's top pizza joints)
I was fortunate to be there on karaoke night - locals put on a good show and have great taste in music!
Seriously, the atmosphere feels more like a family birthday party you genuinely want to pop in for. Highly recommend

Foods are decent and as pricy as Hilo, more expensive than Waimea. Personally don’t like their tap water, but that’s what beers for, right? The dinner is in a historic building and the staffs have the aloha vibe. Will visit again if come back.
