I dont care what other people say. For me This is the best thai food truck in the island. I been a customer for 3 yrs now and i would never get tired eating their beef salad and chicken satay ? Its located now accross Boston’s North end pizza bakery in aiea.

Went at 12:30 and ended up waiting 40 minutes for food! Asked for no egg plant, and recieved egg plant. Food was okay.

I found a roach head in my fried rice. Thank you for such a humbling experience.

Incredibly disappointing. Got the pad Thai, three minuscule shreds of beef, and My grandmother makes more authentic pad Thai. She lives deep in the country of Alabama and her idea of Asian food is shrimp fried rice.

Their ordering system is broken! They verbally tell you your number but they don’t call out numbers. They call out the food that was ordered and people who were waiting who ordered the same thing grab it. After 30 to 40 minutes I asked about my order, they told me they would have to remake it because they had given it to someone else. I saw this happen to someone else who was waiting and it has happened to my wife and I both at separate times. I guarantee it has happened to many others. They need to get this fixed or MWR should shut them down.
Tried the Chicken Pad Thai after work. It takes about 15-20 minutes but was made fresh. The portions were very generous too especially considering the price.
I wasn’t expecting better but once I saw the pepper flakes, I knew I wasn’t going to be impressed. I ordered fried rice with chicken, it was over cooked and not seasoned
Swung by Hickam to grab a few items at the BX right around lunch time. Decided to check Basil Thai out (Food truck trailer in between the food court and BX) and I ordered the “Beef Salad” but wanted the chicken option. Cashier was a little confused since I guess that usually isn’t requested, but I mentioned “Larb Gai”. He asked the chef and she told me it wouldn’t be like the traditional minced/chopped style but she could make it. I’m guessing it’s the same cut chicken breasts used for other menu items. Came out perfect and the portion was just right. Got some chili flakes on the side to get it how I like it. Will definitely be coming back. All dishes $11.
Food is ok but the meat is weird. The wait is also super long. At least it’s consistent
I really enjoyed the Green Curry and the Beef Salad. Food was seasoned well, fresh, and timely service. Only request is a bigger serving of the Beef Salad.

Great taste, inexpensive
Great little Thai place serving food out of a trailer at the Hickam main exchange.I've been here a few times and tried most of the menu, all is great. The red curry (pictured in my review) isn't very red and it isn't very spicy at all.. But otherwise, this place is pretty good if you want a quick Thai fix!
Food is great here! Reminds me of my trip to Phuket, Thailand.I have been a regular for 12 months. During lunch hours it gets a bit overwhelmed with customers taking about 40 minutes for food. However, that is a great problem to have.
Soooooooooooo slow
Food takes about 30-40 minutes. It was good and the price was fair.
