Get a fan, get a fan, get a fan. Keep all of the windows open as the construction of the building funnels any wind up through your windows. Get a dehumidifier to avoid mold and humidity if you can. Don’t keep cardboard containers of any kind and don’t leave food items open. That’s how I kept my room decently cool and void of bugs mostly. Also if you see a spider it’s your friend, don’t kill it. It’ll keep some bugs away as well. Good luck boys
Called the “High Rise” Barracks when I was a resident 2times during my tour serving aboard USS William H Bates (SSN 680). Rm 1409 then 1514. I loved every second of it. Was 20 saying my Aloha (hello) and 23 saying Aloha (good bye).

I had the pleasure and stroke of pure luck, to live in room 1701 (top floor,, last room with best view). while I was 21-23 years old.
Great place to have a drink however: Police are a bit ruff, my leg still hurts.

Definitely a place to kick back with the bois, you make enough noise and people from the building will flood out to rally with you, 10/10 would do again

I spent many, many a night out here after a long day at work to wind down and have a few(12) beers. 10/10 would alcoholism again.

No AC in building, integrity is shot by rust. Humidity is crazy, not allowed to have standing AC unit for room very moldy and only 1 out of 3 elevators work currently.
No overhead to protect me from the rain. My cigarettes get damp.
