The help is hustling. You'd think they were moving so fast as as if they were training for a marathon. Good comes quickly. I'm not big on the fact that they let you in from outside the door. I guess it keeps the crowds outside. Yeah, it's a decent joint.

The only two workers that were nice and doing their job properly were the host and the busser.
The two bigger women working the bar and serving were very rude and not helpful at all. They always seem to have a sour face on like they hate their job. The entire time all I heard was them slamming stuff around at the bar like they’re angry at world.
We’ve waited over an hour for our food and they didn’t come to check on us or refill our drinks. This was the second time we were treated poorly over here from these heavy set women. I don’t know if they didn’t put our order in on purpose so we would have to wait longer or what but it’s never taken this long for our food before. If these women do this every time they get mad or don’t like a customer they’re costing the business a lot of money!
I thought I would give this place another chance but this will be the last time I will be supporting this business. If I was the owner I would fire those unhappy servers because they’re going to drive away a lot of customers!
And to those two bigger women maybe instead of eating your feelings and blaming everyone else for your problems you should start taking responsibility for your life and maybe start working out! Then maybe you’ll be in better moods!

Just got some dinner with the boys tonight, and I just gotta say that this is the most consistent Mexican restaurant on the island. Super kind staff and excellent food for the price. Servers are always nice, and are very welcoming and humble. The interior is very traditional Mexican and feels homey. Idk what the bad reviewers are on but it's some good stuff. BEST MEXICAN RESTAURANT ON MAUI, MAHALOS AMIGOS 🤙🤙

Amigos pricing is not consistent. Check your receipt before you pay their menu pricing. And what they actually charge you are two different things, especially if you eat at lunch and at dinner, the prices can vary as much as $5 per meal.

Amigo’s did not disappoint! Delicious food for a great price paired with friendly and personable service! I ordered the steak tacos and was genuinely impressed with how much flavor was incorporated in the meat; looking forward to coming back and trying additional dishes!

We were very disappointed. It was a Thursday with chimichangas as the special. We had 2 of the chimichangas. My husband liked the shredded beef. The steak one was fairly bland, but had a lot of meat, and was overly greasy. The rice wasn’t good. The chips were okay. We enjoyed the salsa but pretty sweet. Flour tortillas were not enjoyable on their own. Waitress didn’t even ask us how the food was or if there was anything else she could get us.
