The Ahi Siciliana is underrated according to Jessie - server extraordinaire. I usually order the Cioppino - and this is one to order again and again. The seared ahi was perfectly seared and sliced over saffron rice with a tomato sauce. We had a wonderful meal at Bistro Casanova on the way to the airport! We ordered 3 tapas, and all were delicious! I had the lamb chops, my husband had the sesame crusted ahi, and we shared crispy Brussels sprouts. We ate everything, food so good! We ate outside, so some traffic noise from passing vehicles sharing their music with everyone! We'll be back!
The menu seems to be shrinking every time we go. The waiter didn't tell us about any specials and made a deal about splitting an entree sized salad (turns out $8 charge for that on a $16 salad). Scallops were delicious but Brussels sprouts were soggy and covered in a sweet dressing and an insane amount of goat cheese. Seems like they have brought in new amateur servers. Just not the quality we're used to seeing here.
