Clean, bright, and good vibes all around. A great spot to chill and enjoy some spicy food. Laid-back atmosphere with good music and a welcoming feel. The chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy—easily some of the best Nashville-style hot chicken I’ve had!

Finally! A hot chicken spot on Maui! If you are a true hot lover....and I'm not saying jalapeno or habanero, but ghost/Carolina reaper.....their extra hot definitely has a kick but it's minor in comparison to some of the spice levels I've experienced. DELICIOUS. 🔥🔥 🔥

Went to the kau kau corner and was pleasantly surprised to see that they had new eating options. Had to fulfill my curiosity and decided to try Hangry Joe's. From the beginning, the experience was questionable. The server in front was kinda lackadaisical and humdrum regarding her knowledge and interaction. I asked her what she would recommend and she suggested the Mac and cheese. When I received it, it literally looked like mac and cheese from the box. 🫣😳 or the microwavable portion sized mac and cheese. Nothing special and it was just eh. Aside from that I ordered a drink. This simple drink took longer than the mac and we had to go up and ask for it. No courtesy or proper mannerisms. I'd steer clear. I normally don't leave reviews but wanted to save people time and money...

I’ve had more hangry joes since I’ve moved out east than any other restaurant, my family and I *love* it. Biggest caveat, which is one of their strengths, is that the restaurant makes everything fresh… The spice levels have been variable at the five or six different ones I’ve been to! I only get mild, it sometimes the mild is too spicy. Then I’ll ask for “no heat” and it will be completely unseasoned…. If I could just find some consistency in their mild, I’d be good to go. LOL So far my favorite location has been crystal city around the pentagon shops. They always add ranch, and the cook is impeccable!

As a big fan of Cane's chicken, this is a cut above!
Cane's is excellent and deserves big ratings for quality, but Hangry's chicken delivers on a much tastier scale. You don't need a funky sauce to get flavor as the all white juicy breast cuts are loaded with character right out of the box!
If you aren't into spicy no worries.. just order it "No Heat", but if you're a lava head be warned that extra hot is gonna get you...

As for the prices, not bad really.. the chicken wings are pricey but they're huge and 6 will do you like 12 from pizza hut. You can call in your order if you're in a hurry. They also have a touch screen if you don't want to wait in line.
Worth mentioning that Jay is the best friendly and knowledgeable counter person I've ever come across! Makes it easy and painless to get things going.

I was in your store in Bixby, OK tonight. I was charged over $50 for three cold meals and one we never received. It took nearly 45 minutes to receive the cold food. Two of the cold meals weren’t edible. We never received the fourth meal. I demanded a refund, but upon review of the receipt, I was only refunded $14.53. What kind of operation are you running? Ridiculous. I want a full refund. With whom do I speak to get a full refund?

This is their loaded mac & cheese mostly chicken some Mac and some cheese I was really disappointed in this. The rest of the food was incredible but this was crazy and I don’t even know what else to say in this review. I do hope that maybe you guys will change the picture on the website so people can stop being lied to thank you.

Listen. Before I get into this, the chicken sandwich is GOOD, okay? It's big and juicy, breaded perfectly, made with real chicken breast...
But the issue I have is that I ordered through Doordash, and being Thai, I ordered it Angry hot. There is NO WARNING on DD about it, but I found out through Google (after I took two bites and my lips swelled) that it's a spicy food challenge and the angry hot chicken is almost impossible to finish. Apparently you also need a waiver, and I was not offered or told about any waiver. My stomach is WRECKED today. I'm so sick. And it's just as painful coming out as it was going in. I will probably eat here again, but will definitely not be getting "angry hot."
They shouldn't even have that as an option for delivery. I wasn't trying to do a challenge. I was just trying to eat some dinner.

The flavors of hot were good, but the chicken itself seemed to be cooked a little too long. Got a side of Mac n cheese and it was literally kraft easy Mac for $6. The waffle fries were ?. Overall custom service was great, and the desserts looked pretty good but I didn’t try them. Would go back again but be very specific about how you want your chicken cooked

First time trying you guys was very excited. I got 4 medium tenders they were the best but they weren’t seasoned that great verry pail. I had also gotten the loaded fries and loaded Mac n cheese. The ratios of chicken to chicken was more chicken than fries which is not a bad thing but I wanted more of them. My biggest complaint is the Mac n cheese is BOXED KRAFT not even close to the photo definitely was a let down but I definitely will check in on you guys very hopeful of this place :)
