I love Happy Opu. I can’t resist all kinds of manapua, whether savory or sweet—I love them all. Bento is another great choice for lunch or dinner, with eight different flavors to choose from. The kimchi pork bento is one of my favorites. I’m a big eater, and the portion size is really satisfying.
Lastly, the sweets and tea are a must-try.

I visited here when I went to Maui to visit some friends and wanted to satisfy my Asian itch, and I was very pleasantly surprised to find a place that sells Asian groceries and meals in this area. There were many interesting items on the menu, and I got an ube jian bing (kind of like a Chinese crepe) as well as some shumai. Very delicious! Highly recommend this place, and I wish there were more places like this on the island.

Just tried a few. The breakfast manapua was my favorite! The soft, fluffy bun with the perfect balance of egg and sausage savory fillings made for an incredible start to my day. It's such a delicious twist on breakfast and manapua that I can't wait to come back for more. Highly recommend giving the breakfast manapua a try if you’re looking for something flavorful and satisfying! I also heard they just started sesame manapua flavor which I am looking towards to.

Love their new concept. The kimbap is amazing!
They're taking a break a bit on their manapua (which I'm looking forward to their return) , but in the meantime, I do love the options they've offered since like their Bulgogi Gimbap

Can’t drive without stopping & grabbing lunch or dinner. Shrimp & pork hash, manapua, steamed buns, unbelievable mango cinnamon buns, rice cake & almond cookies are just some of the offerings.Grab a housemade POG or milk tea too!

First time eating happy opu. The steamed char siu manapua is just like i used to eat when i was hanabata days. This place is good. Wish i knew about it earlier. This is my new beach lunch from now on. They got lots of other stuff but i didn't try them. The manapua is what i was looking for and I'm glad i found it. 2 thumbs up.

My favorites are the curry and the adobo. The sizes are big enough that each of my family members only needs one to feel full, but we buy multiples so we can enjoy them for more than one meal. I like the miso brownies, too.The only negative is the parking lot. It can be difficult to leave it.

If you love the classics then you must have the char siu -sweet savory super soft steamed bun. If you’re looking for something with a modern twist, try the pepperoni pizza steamed bun. But If you’re looking to satisfy your sweet tooth, then go straight for the super rich miso caramel brownie. Yum!If Mochi rolls are Ah and the pork hash is the best you ever tasted. your jam, Happy Opu’s are baked like a cinnamon roll but have a layer of fresh mochi and custard then painted with mango butter. My fav is the one with green tea mochi and condensed milk. Oh and don’t forget to try the Ube which is super good, topped with cream cheese icing. If you can visit this locally owned shop and leave not addicted you’re better than me.I almost forgot…the pork hash is the best I have ever tasted!
very good food with even better service!!
Super cute, absolutely delicious. While the Manapua's were good. The pork balls stole the show. These tasty liitle nuggets were absolutely fire. If you like gyoza these will blow your freakin' mind, they are all meat no filler. I can polish a 6 pack of balls easy! Stop in, grab your balls! You'll love it.
I've been waiting on a good Manapua spot! So delicious! So far the char siu and Curry are my favorite. Must get the shrimp pork hash too! And DO NOT pass on the ube mochi roll, I thought about it for days after. So yummy! Can't wait until they do steamed manapua on the regular. Right now they mostly do baked manapua.
