Walked into the Kahului IHOP at 9:30p this evening. Posted hours of operations on the door is 7:00am - 10:00pm. When we asked to be seated, we were told that they were only serving carryout and the dining room had been shutdown. Hhhmmm I guess IHOP Kahului closes at 9:30p and NOT 10:00p as posted on their doors. Very poor operation of service. Didn't get the gentleman's name at the door, wish I did so that I could post his name with my review. I will definitely NOT recommend IHOP to anyone who asks me for a place to eat in Kahului. Management needs do better here.

Walked in and the place is half empty and the tatooed gal tells another worker named Tucker that if people haven’t been waited on that we gotta wait 15min. Its half empty. So we wait for 15 min to be seated, Tucker says we didn’t add our names on the list when we already did upon first entry. Then continues to complain that they’re short staffed. Is it the customers fault? No. Then he says are you coming arrogantly at which time I ask to get his name at which time he states my name. This guy needs to be fired.

Returned to Ihop after renovations were complete only to be completely disappointed! Our party of 2 were sat waiting for 20 minutes with no check in from any waitress or any water served! Definitely won't be returning anytime soon!

TERRIBLE service! Our waitress LISA had NO customer service, she was grouchy, seemed irritated to be there. She rushed us while ordering, didn't write or input our order in her iPad. So when our food came EVERYTHING WAS WRONG! To the point we we're even reiceivinng stuff we didn't order. When she came back to double check was we actually ordered she still got the orders wrong. We eneded ul just eating whatever she THOUGHT WE ORDERED.NOT TO MENTION, being supper unsanitary. Every plate of food she brought her fingers were touching the food. & to TOP IT OFF she had other plates stacked DIRECTLY ON OUR FOOD.

Please be done with renovations soon, I miss going to ihop every Sunday after church. It was something to look forward to every week. I love your guys pancakes I tried going other places and they couldn't live up to your guys' the French toast is also CRAZY good. Please come back

My first IHOP experience was in Honolulu, and although that branch was a bit rundown compared to this one, the food was phenomenal. I still remember how amazing the chocolate pancakes were, and that is why I decided to visit this IHOP.
While this location looks much nicer overall, I found the pancakes here not as fluffy and buttery as the ones I had in Honolulu. On the bright side, the appetizer platter was excellent, crispy, tasty, and not oily at all.
Our server, Sheila, was absolutely phenomenal. She was managing around 11 tables when we were there, yet she was still quick, efficient, and genuinely friendly. The other lady, the larger one with the flower in her hair, was quite condescending and unfriendly. I am just really glad she was not our server.
