I order takeout, I order a burger with fries and side of hash brown, the burger was really dry and fries were soggy, the hash brown was burnt & was cold on the inside I really expected better quality on food my pickup time was 8:55 I came at 9:00 ish so it was not sitting that long for the fires to be soggy like how it was đ¤Śđ˝ââď¸ my bf Ordered pancakes and cinnamon bites, when we checked in the bag the box that the cinnamons bites where in was smashed and it was half open like someone just throw it inside, the pancakes were good though!! The Service of the workers were good. Itâs just the food that was not which is why Iâm giving it 2 stars !!

Got seated and took the waiter almost 30 minutes to come to our table to take our order, restaurant had barely any customers and a lot of staff were working. Food came fast though, waiter coulda came faster.

Maui World Travelers
Maui's sole IHOP is located in the Maui Mall, east side, with plenty of close parking. The island's second location in Kihei closed years ago.
ATMOSPHERE: This is an aging location but it has gone through a recent renovation and looks great inside. The restaurant is clean and has lots of big windows for natural light. The booths and tables can be configured to handle large groups with ease.
FOOD: French Onion Pot Roast Why'd they kill this?! I can't stress at how delicious this dish was. For being a chain restaurant, it's pretty up there with homemade versions. The tender meat was shredded and topped with a savory dark brown gravy, smooth mashed potatoes (AKA instant,) with sides of buttery corn, and their yummy garlic bread.
Big Steak Omelette Their omelettes are humongous, not only because they're made with 3 eggs, but they add in some pancake batter. This behemoth is stuffed with steak, fresh mushrooms and hash browns. On top of that, it's topped with more steak slices, cheese, diced tomatoes, onions, green peppers, and a ramekin of salsa. And in addition to all of that, it came with 3 buttermilk pancakes.
Pancakes I used to think I could only get creamy, buttery pancakes at local places but they proved me wrong. They're fluffy and the batter has that great taste I long for.
Belgian Waffle - The single, thick waffle had that amazing creamy batter flavor, was cooked perfect, and came topped with a mini scoop of their whipped butter. Drizzled old-fashioned maple and devoured it!
Breakfast Sampler What a deal this was! It cost less than their oddly pricey omelettes and you receive more for your buck. You get 2 eggs, a good amount of hash browns, 2 slices of ham, 2 strips of bacon, 2 links of sausage, and 2 pancakes. Everything was good but the bacon could be a bit crispier, but I guess I need to request that next time.
SERVICE: The staff are friendly and service is pretty quick even when they're busy. Reservations are suggested but turnover is fairly fast. Coming on a Saturday or Sunday morning? Prepare to wait a while.
OVERALL: Good food, good service, open late.

I ordered through a delivery service so I canât speak on the service or the atmosphere. The food though.. I got a chicken quesadilla and there were small pieces of bones in it. Thought I cracked my tooth for a second until I spat the piece out and realized it was chicken bone. There were small pieces of bones in 2 of the 4 pieces. Never again.

Didnât appreciate that the gratitude section was circled as if it was a demand or pressure to give you folks a tip. I know it maybe a small thing, but to a customer thatâs inconsiderate. Itâs kind of like youâre telling your customer that youâre hungry for money.
Good place to have a meal. It is by Maui Mall, lots of choices for a classic iHop dishes. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are great. Their omelettes and pancakes are great. Family friendly place and easy to spot.

5pm. IHOP is not even 1/2 full with customers. Manager tells us 10 minute wait. I shockingly blurted out that it was crazy he only had one server on the floor. I was shocked. Only one server??!!! Itâs dinner time. Manager said the new owner was running the restaurant that way now even though itâs the top grossing IHOP he owns. Sounds like penny wise and pound foolish. This is Maui. Better listen to your local staff about what works on Maui and what doesnât. Not enough servers will piss off lots of folks and theyâll go elsewhere. Then youâll only have the lesser amount of customers coming to your restaurant and your gross proceeds will decline. You canât run a Maui restaurant like the mainland. This is still a foreign country. As Maui folk say âthis ainât the mainland â. Want to succeed here then listen and RESPECT your local staff and their knowledge. Iâve lived on Maui for 42 years. Iâm from NY. Iâm picky. However I was never upset about waiting for a table in IHOP when itâs packed. I sure was upset to hear that you want to run on a skeleton staff at 5 pm. Thatâs the start of dinner time here. You need to have staff available so when the rush comes they can seat and serve right away.
