Ordered 2 wagyu beef curry and 1 wagyu beef curry with blk pork katsu. $69.00
GROUND Beef curry w/rice with just 1 tiny peice of potato. Very, very small portions.
Not worth it!!!

Easily the most authentic Japanese food. Their chicken katsu curry is a must have item. The fresh tempura is always wonderful. We are truly lucky to have such a delicious food truck. Order by phone in advanced is always a good idea.

best casual meal on maui this year’s maui trip (i visit family every year). we got the keyakiya chicken — great texture (not dry), umami, sweet, and very lightly breaded (i don’t like thicc breading). i can’t wait until next year’s maui trip ?check their IG. sometimes they don’t come if the weather is bad. @keyakiyamaui

Had the Tempura Don Bowl. It was delicious! The tempura shrimp were tender & tasty. All of the tempura was lightly battered, crisp and fresh. Definitely 5 star food.

Best katsu I've ever eaten, and I've eaten many across the world. The chef used to work in kitchens in LA+New York then run the one at Nuka; he's very good. I didn't find the staff rude, they're just to the point. Worth driving a long distance, and you can just go to the local parking lot/harbor front next to it to eat. Try phoning ahead; orders take 10 minutes to prepare as it's all made to go.

Food was decent but the staff was really unfriendly (almost angry at us?) - we wouldn’t go back.

Today we ordered the keiyakiya chicken, which is their twist on the mochiko chicken, the karaage chicken plate, and the typhoon fries. The food was absolutely amazing, the karaage chicken tasted just like it would in Japan! They even have hijiki salad (black seaweed) in the plate and it brought me back to my time in Japan. The overall plate was delicious and very filling with lots of chicken as you can see in the photo. I'll definitely be back to try something new!

If you're looking for authentic Japanese in the middle of the pond, this is your spot. Best there is on the island, no doubt. There's only one other place in the U.S. that I know of that makes Katsu curry as excellent as this. My only regret was not coming back. It's worth an hour drive across the island. Otherwise, make this your first stop after you land and pick up your rental (assuming you're arriving ~2pm or sooner to have time to get here before they close).

Simply scrumptious. I got the braised beef donburi. One of the best donburi ever (I love Japanese food). My friend got the katsu which was excellent as well.
