L&L Hawaiian Barbecue

Ate at Kahului and Kihei locations ordered the same meal BBQ mix plate. Both locations very subpar on the food. Drowning food in teriyaki sauce doesn't make it teriyaki bbq. They used to have great teriyaki but now don't even waste your money.

Chicken Katzu,rice and macaroni salad was really nice for me,tasted great,wasn’t greasy as it is on other places and wasn’t too much of mayo on the macaroni,I liked it.
For a quick lunch it was awesome.

We got the teriyaki chicken with the sauce before the dancers started the show and it was really good,full of flavor and the beef was great too ,along with the salad
I think it's a great place to get food for lunch.

We love L&L Hawaiian Barbecue and have visited one of locations near Kaanapali (West Maui). The taste and portion have never disappointed us for 5 years. However, this particular location in the food court of the outdoor mall in Kahului was not good. My beef was undercooked and the overall portion was much less than the one near ka’anapali. We don’t recommend this particular location unfortunately.

Poor service! Order my food at 1:17pm at 1:47pm. My order still wasn’t ready. 3 customers ordered after me and got their food before me. Asked for a refund and she wouldn’t give my money back! Playing on her phone is more important than customer service! What pissed me off more is when she didn’t what to refund me! So I gave the Hawaiian braddah my receipt and told he could have my chicken cutlet. Never eating there again!Howard M,

These are good people!!!! We were traveling through and our water bottles were empty ... there were no public water dispensers and a nice employee from here offered to fill our bottles for us ? what a sweet generous and kind employees you have! Thank you!!!

Average at best. I had the fried shrimp dinner and there was more batter around the shrimp than there was shrimp. The shrimp inside were tiny, but looked big on the outside.

I ordered from Door Dash and the food was EXCEPTIONAL! Each item came packaged in nice compostable containers with lids , then indi individually wrapped in compostable bags so when i reheat the dishes will still be moist. The BBQ chicken was lean and moist and so flavorful.
