The lady taking orders was super kind and had a motherly vibe to her. Kahlua pork was inconsistently seasoned and tasted like it sat in a slow cooker for awhile and had the “slow cooker taste” (iykyk). Lau lau was ok but not much flavor. A side sauce or something would have helped the flavor a bit but not the best Hawaiian food I’ve had.

Plantation Plate is our favorite spot for a couple of years and we usually stop by after a fuel stop accessthe street. My favorite go to is the Chicken Hekka, which has the clear vermicelli noodles and vegetables. It has a sweet and tart sauce and I look forward to this offering every time we're in Kahului!

A food truck locate across from Costco in Kahului. Fantastic Kalua Pork. Had a very extensive menu for a food truck. The quality and taste will not disappoint.
We followed reviews here after the airport arrival and Costco trip for groceries and wanted affordable local food to start our trip. We had the Hawaiian plate and it was wonderful! The service was helpful and the environment was great because it was covered, and clean tables, and the plants outside Plantation plate were gorgeous!

Ordered the teriyaki beef and it was amazing. Also had a bite of the kaluai pig and teriyaki pork and both were phenomenal. Quick, friendly service and wonderful food, what more could you ask for?

Four stars based on one dish called chicken hekka and the service. Number one, she offered free sample, unsolicitedly. This got me to try it and it was yum! The dish had a sweetness to it, sort of like teriyaki but not teriyaki, glass noodles, rice, and veggies. Very good overall.
