5star bases on Kauai Pork and hamburger steak. We had some amazing food in maui, including some viral places on the internet, but this one is definitely a sleeper. Why does it have only 39 review? No idea.
Four stars based on one dish called chicken hekka and the service. Number one, she offered free sample, unsolicitedly. This got me to try it and it was yum! The dish had a sweetness to it, sort of like teriyaki but not teriyaki, glass noodles, rice, and veggies. Very good overall.
One of my favorite Maui local stops with great prices and great food, my family and friends love to get the Lau Lau Plate, which has a colorfully delicious mix of flavors, and my personal favorite is the Hamburger Steak Plate - full of flavor and perfect with rice and mac - a must-visit if you're looking for great local flavor in our local home of Maui
