Justin's execution is next level. Tonight I tried the Ahi Katsu and the plate disappeared before I even thought about taking a picture. It's always awesome to see a beautiful local family serving top notch gourmet style meals with Hawaiian style at its finest. Go check out shibiz to experience the pure Aloha served in every dish. I met this awesome couple back when they had Hui Kitchen up at the old Wailuku Inn. When they stepped away from that deal, I spent the last year wondering if they were going to start something of their own. Fast forward, I learned about Shibiz after running into them at another restaurant, and we recognized each other because our family had become regulars at the Hui Kitchen.
Anyways, these are the type of businesses that everyone should continue supporting. Their operation is humble, they aren’t trying to become millionaires. Just raising their family and making memories together while serving amazing food to the people of Maui.

You can find them at the Saturday Maui Swap Meet - across the street from the MACC. This is a local family-owned business and the amount of compassion and dedication to their food and service really demonstrates their commitment to quality and serving up the freshest ingredients for the local community! I was SO impressed that I just hired them to cater our house party! So excited!! Mahalo to the owners - Justin and Shekinah Cantere.

My family and I found Shibiz Maui at the Maui Swap Meet in Kahului, and the food was so good we had to come back again at the Maui Sunday Market. This is easily some of the best food on Maui.
Their poke bowls are incredibly fresh with generous portions, but the highlight for me was the Ahi Katsu. It was the best Ahi Katsu I’ve had in Hawaii. Perfectly crispy on the outside, tender in the middle, and paired with their house katsu sauce and garnishes. My kids loved the Dynamite Spam Musubi, and the Poi Mochi was the perfect way to end the meal.
Bonus: Shibiz Maui also offers private catering, making them an awesome choice for events and gatherings on Maui.
Huge mahalo to Justin and Shekinah for bringing such great flavors to Kahului and Maui. If you’re looking for poke bowls, Ahi Katsu, and some of the best eats on Maui, Shibiz Maui is a must-try. 10/10 recommend.

Never thought something simple like a musubi would be something I crave for - but their Dynamite musubis are the bomb as well as their poke ! Everything tastes so fresh and flavorful . The owners are so nice and have amazing customer service . Definitely see them , get their food and support their business :)
