Lately, I’ve been visiting Starbucks frequently to unwind from the stress of studying. It’s a relaxing place, and even though I don’t spend a long time there, it feels like a special gift I give myself.

Last week, after a stressful day at work, I stopped in to focus on my tasks. I’m very sensitive to caffeine, especially in the late evening, so I usually avoid coffee. However, I made a mistake and wanted to try a new menu item, which led to a mix-up with my order. When my drink came out, I was a bit flustered.

The staff member noticed my reaction and kindly asked, “How can I help you?” I apologized for the mix-up and explained that I thought I had ordered a Green Tea fappuccino. Without hesitation, she said she'd make a new one for me!

It’s not about the money spent, but the quality of service was truly touching. Her small act of consideration uplifted my mood. While it’s the same Starbucks chain, this kind of excellent service enhances the brand's value. I believe that if you can receive such pleasant service for the same price, it makes the experience even better!

So disappointed, my order is matcha frapp but they put caramel syrup and caramel drizzle which is i dont like. It over powers the matcha flavor, and way to sweet. Second time that im so dissapointed with this location. The first time i ordered the lavender creme matcha frapp they forget to put classic on matcha.

Always mess up orders, doesn’t matter if it’s drinks or food. It’s just the dairy road location, all the other locations are good.

It's a Starbucks... But had a couple boxes left of the best seasonal item they do. The Cranberry bliss bar!

Now using paper cups for cold drinks, which gets soggy and practically collapses after a while if you don’t drink it quick enough. Plus, you can’t see the contents through the cup to confirm they made your order properly. However, are still giving real plastic straws - that’s the only positive. You speak up about it in store and it’s like they want to shame you because you prefer a better cup. Better to stick with local coffee companies who don’t do this.

They always get my drinks wrong, I got a caramel ribbon frap and it was all whip cream at the bottom and I always ask for light ice but they fill it up with ice. They always out of strawberry puree. It’s frustrating because I don’t want to correct them at the window sounding like one Karen when all I want is my drink and pup cup for my dog. My dog is satisfied but not me and that makes no sense. Just the other day I gave the cashier $20 for two drink and a pup cup and she gave my change then then my pup cup and we sat there for a minute and asked me if I needed anything else , yea the two drink I ordered and got change back for. This happens more often than not and I drop my man off in the morning to work and all I need to start my morning is a nice Trenta black iced tea that I personalize every time. Wailuku Starbucks will now be my go to cuz it’s kinda lame having to correct them all the time. It would be nice to see a little bit more focus from the girls working. Mahalo 🤙🏽

Go to a different Starbucks. This place sucks and is over ran by homeless people. The bathrooms are dirty and I’ve watched flies buzz around in their display showcase. Health commission should probably investigate this location. 💯

Denied my service dog because I allowed it to sit next to me on the bench i was on.(He needs access to my lap to task and no regular chairs were available.)

Manager insisted he wasn't a real service dog and kicked us out.

Super unprofessional and AGAINST THE LAW.

I'm a regular here, but service has really gone downhill lately. Expect to have your drink / food made wrong and then attitude in response to your polite request to simply get what you ordered. Funny how the mobile app asks if I want to leave a tip... as a fellow service worker I'm 100% in support of tipping baristas. Simply get my order right or correct an honest mistake without being rude and I gladly will... but I'm NOT tipping for poor service.

One star because I've never encountered more miserable wifi and usually the Starbucks chain provides more reliable fast internet for nomad tech workers. There are also no vegan options for food, so the one star is also a complaint about this to the entire chain.

Miserable staff close to closing time on a Tuesday night. Sorry you’re working, but nobody deserves bad attitudes and solemn faces even if they come in in the evening. I expected Hawaiian hospitality to be better than this. Maybe it’s because we’re tourists.

I will never patronize this Starbucks again. The woman who took our drive thru order got it wrong then when my husband pointed out it was incorrect, she blamed him for ordering the wrong drink! Then proceeded to roll her eyes and tell him he’s rude for pointing out her mistake and attitude. I understand we’re white and the racism is real here on Maui, but when you have paying customers who are contributing to your salary and benefits, don’t go out of your way to be rude and aggressive. Stop gaslighting customers and own your mistakes.
