First off, rarely do I ever leave negative reviews…but the ladies working the drive thru (2/19/25 @ 8:20 am) were extremely rude & not @ all customer focused. I also work a service oriented job & it’s unnecessary to have an attitude with customers. Especially when all we were doing was ordering & we were nice.

This place is consistent with good coffee. I'm not a huge goer to the big chain stores, but getting a consistently good cup of coffee makes it difficult to stray away. Starbucks has it figured out.

Floor needed to cleaned, and tables needed to be tidy up , including outside area. They did not have the drink I wanted, and when I asked for something similar/ recommendation, the barista rolled her eyes and said no. I walked across the parking lot to Target/Starbucks. Staff was friendly and nice, they had my drink.

I understand that customer service is a dying art and that barista work is hard but this location stands out from the other four locations in Kahului. Getting someone to acknowledge or greet you is an impossibility here. Save yourself the time and frustration and use the app.

The people working at this place Monday evening were the most unhelpful, non customer service oriented Starbucks baristas I have ever encountered in the entire US. They went out of their way to be mean and condescending when I got a chai latte that was only milk and inquired why. I order this same order all the time on the mainland and never have a problem but when I questioned the barista she threw the drink down the drain and spitefully explained that was what I got when I placed an order with no ice. I was bewildered by the hostility and bitterness, especially when 2 of them ganged up against me as I have experienced nothing but kindness in every other Starbucks. The guy standing across from me did not even hand me my drink when I finally just said I would take it however because they were so mean and he went out of his way to walk the drink down to the end of the counter to leave for me to pick it up. Never seen such rude service and will never be back to this location

I like a few workers at this spot but for some reason orders are wrong 12 out of 12 in a row and not even counting one from a friend and when it's their fault when I repeat and specifically say an order they dump the mess up instead of give it to someone or a homeless person, I order correctly ad if not I tell them before thy make drink but sometimes the order states exactly what it is and still made wrong . So much product wasted not even to be Givin ti someone else as a mess up or anything just aloha drain that's just messed up and ik starbucks gets write offs for donating to homeless or even get tax right offs in giving the day old food to non profits and somehow I don't think that happens in maui. I have never been to a place that hassled about u stepping put the store to get refill ever besides here and or dogs all across the country dogs go to starbucks service animals or not why have pup cups if a distant gret it and say truff ruff why have pup cups if not pet friendly ik book stores that have cats that live in them hell the walmart in maui has a cat that roams the store but that's beside the point please owner teach or hirer people who care to make the drink correctly and friendly staff since it is customer service if they dont like customers or prejudice might need a different job carreer ty

The Caucasian woman with long mane is prejudice against disabled native Americans, this woman complains about everything I do in the store she is racist I spend money and she always tries to find a way to prejudice me.for being a customer with cash not gift cards cash.

Don’t forget to purchase some Starbucks gift cards with Hawaiian designs to take back with you for souvenirs of Hawaii that last! In past years they had a hula girl image. This year it’s the state of Hawaii with a bird and a rainbow !
