All the food here is prepared by the students of the culinary arts program. They're very proud of the meals they prepared. Every week it's a different cuisine and the food is great, and the prices are very affordable. Love to support this program!!

As a student here, I’m super impressed with the quality and cost of food made at the culinary program. I only wish they were open longer than three hours a day and I’d eat here all the time.

Standout performance by the culinary whiz-kids at UH-Maui. We had the French meunu which started out just so-so, Both the amuse bouch (a custard with a crisped prosciutto in an egg shell) and the fish quenelles were far too rich for our taste. However, the entrees (scrumptious lamb chops and surprising salmon} were real standouts. The caramel mouse was a perfect ending. The service was very attentive, friendly and very efficient. Only let-down was the overly slow production times which could be helped by slowing the starter courses.

The overall experience is fabulous. Mark and Peter are amazing ambassadors for the Class Act. Peter has increased the food quality and flavours to a new and higher level. Well done. Mark is so accommodating to everyone as a “one man team” during a challenging time after COVID.

This is the best restaurant on Maui - hands down! Although there's no shortage of good restaurants on the island, Lei's Family Class Act Restaurant takes the cake. This place rocks for so many reasons. First, THE FOOD... OMG! The menu's are carefully planned and executed. The journey of international flavors are an adventure in and of themselves. Each course is not only beautifully presented, they exceed your mouth's expectations. This past week we had the Asian-influenced menu. The way Chef Pak and students developed their flavors and creativity is amazing. The Kampachi melted in your mouth, as did the braised short rib. The accompanying sauces and sides paired perfectly with each course... From the amuse bouche thru to dessert, you'll see why this place gets such rave reviews. The Service. It's awesome! Friendly and efficient. The service staff is lead by instructor Mark Malone. His passion for hospitality is contagious and his team are very professional and attentive as the culinary journey unfolds. The front of the house staff ensured that our dining experience was going to be memorable. The Cause. This is a living learning lab. Through hands-on, real world experiences, students are learning all facets of the food, beverage, and hospitality industry from the best of the best. The Cost. You would expect to pay three-times as much as you would if you went to a similar restaurant. And as an added benefit, there is a nominal corkage fee, so you can bring your favorite wines to enjoy with your meal. Lei's Family Class Act is an absolute gem! If you can find an open reservation, book it! And make sure you take some time off from work to really enjoy the entire experience. Bon appetite!

It's wonderful to have Class Act open to the public again. Our experience was hands down the best. The Asian Inspired menu was full of robust flavors and each dish built upon the other in the most complimentary way. To make it even better our service was impeccable. We were greeted right away by our host...and when we were seated, we we had non stop service reminiscent of a 5-star restaurant throughout the meal. If you are able to get a reservation I would highly recommend paying a visit. You won't be disappointed at all.

Finally made it here and opted for take out. Lots of space if you choose to dine in as well as parking. I signed up for the weekly emails regarding their menu and they had a Japanese theme. Unfortunately the two things we came in for weren't available for some reason. Only half of the menu they listed on the email was available to order. Decided on Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi and a Hot Pastrami Sandwich. Both came with fries for $12.99. Both were very yummy. Food was served in about 5 minutes and it was fairly busy with lunch rush. Condiments and utensils readily available. They also have a self serve salad and soup bar and some cookies and donuts by the register for purchase. The cookies are huge which we also tried white chocolate macadamia, peanut butter, and chocolate chip. Peanut butter was the best! The two aunties working the registers were also very nice. Everything is kept clean and it's a nice place to stop in.

We are excited to support future culinarians at Pa'ina Food Court I enjoyed the Panko Crusted Nairagi served with Fried Rice and Green Papaya Salad. I was excited to be given a taste of the Sweet Potato Salad. My BF tried the Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, wanted Fried Rice - but got white rice - and cole slaw. BF found his chicken to be salty and slaw sour; I loved my Nairagi! We topped our lunch with a slice of fresh - made Pumpkin pie Affordable, friendly and fast - and a great option for lunch Mondays through Thursdays, 11am - 1pm.

I had to grab a transcript and saw in the news That they were open to the public again. With that, decided to stop by for lunch. Pa'ina is a mini food court, with a sushi section, burger section, noodle section, though at this time of visit, Not everything was open. If you are added to their email list, you can see what students at the culinary department will be featuring. When I went, it was Italian; I had the eggplant Parmesan which included a side of lightly cooked green beans and rainbow carrots, a piece of garlic bread, and a feta cucumber salad. All for $9.99! I was full and soo surprised that at this time of inflation you could still find cheap and yummy eats. In addition, they have soups and a mini diy salad bar, as well as some bakery offerings, fruits, and drinks. I'll be back!

From Skills to Baking, little by little I have learned to accept my intolerance of being around aggressive people, and that's a first big step towards my culinary arts goals.

Started with carrot cardamom soup, delicious. The lamb tangine was cooked perfectly nice flavour. Dates, pumpkin purée, ginger carrots, great mixture of flavours. The saffron tea cake was nice but quite tiny. Service was excellent just a little slow getting each course. Well worth it though.

We always enjoy the food at Leis Family Class Act. We had the Moroccan menu and the lamb shank was very good. The only problem was the dessert. It was not that tasty...much worse than normal.

While the food was Great and the flavors great, the service was slower than previous lunches. I would still recommend this for a leisurely luncheon that is first class. While we noticed the prices were increased, we also heard two couples at another table discuss that Mama's Fish House might be a better choice for the money... Perhaps, Class Act should reconsider how they are pricing.... At any rate, you will have a wonderful meal in a nice setting... Providing you can get a reservation since they book fast and we only had one date to chose from... Good luck
