Imagine being a Hawaii based shop and NOT taking cash payments, just card. Tried calling beforehand to see if they started taking cash again because I came 3 times before and still no cash was accepted, sent straight to voicemail. Showed up and still no cash. Just take my money omg😩

I was a little shocked to see and indoors Ululani’s but this location had the same quality shaved ice that brings me nostalgia with a couple of new items. This location offers shaved ice flights if you’re looking to share and try multiple flavors. They also have a “cheesecake cream”. I had a great time overall! The staff was kind, there was plenty of parking, and the shaved ice as always was delicious. Bring your family and friends here for a cold sweet treat!

The best shave ice in Maui, hands down. During our stay, we visited every single Ululani’s location. This one was our favorite for the local crowds, indoor and outdoor seating, and fresh squeezed sugarcane juice at Velzyland Burgers next door. The staff are incredibly nice at all of the branches. We had 5 punch cards from a decade ago. Instead of counting 10 punches as one shave ice, they let us redeem every single card for a free shave ice. Loyalty to Ululani’s pays off!

The shave ice is soft and smooth - we saw a worker being trained during one of our visits, and her manager showed her how to remove any icy spots for the perfect texture. The natural flavors are delicious without being too sugary. We tried Na Ka Oi, Party in the Mouth, Coconut Lovers, Sunset Beach, and a combo of ube, melona, and guava, and loved them all! The macadamia nut and haupia ice creams are delicious, as are the mochi and azuki beans. Don’t forget a snowcap!

I didn't know what to expect when trying shaved ice but I can safely say that I have been thinking about Uluwani's shaved ice nonstop since we visited. I had the Sunset Beach favor combo. I didn't expect the shaved ice to be as smooth as ice cream or each flavor to be both fantastic on its own, as well as amazing together. I would travel back to Maui to visit Uluwani's, but in the meantime will have my memories and merch to tide me over!
