We are shave ice nerds and try shave ice whenever we are in Hawaii. This is in our top 3 across the islands. The mango syrup was incredible. Our coconut one needed a bit more and the gal mentioned even before we took it that we should come back for more syrup if it was dry. They were great. I like ice cream but it wasn't even needed because the ice was so smooth and the syrups so flavorful.
Best shaved ice on the island in my opinion. It's a really finly shaved ice that they perfectly pack and shape. Other shaved ice places look like you are getting a big scoop, but it evaporates as soon as syrup is poured on it. Not with this place. They have to score it with skewers to give the syrup a place to run because it is that thick.
There are way more flavors than most shaved ice places as well.

We were really hyped about Ululani's Hawaiian Shave Ice, but as first-time eaters of shaved ice, we found it slightly underwhelming. While I liked it, I didn't quite understand all the rave reviews. It's pretty good with its snow cone and mochi pieces, but if you're like me, you might only try it once. That said, the service was great, and the taste was good.
