My first time visiting this establishment was on my birthday- big mistake. This restaurant was over priced and underwhelming. Upon being seated- honestly the most notable aspect was the view. My husband’s Macadamia Nut Chicken was cold from his first bite but he was so hungry he just barreled through. My best friend ordered the Seared Ahi Salad and it arrived with the saddest amount of ahi possible for the price. I ordered the Smash Burger as the menu is limited. The pricing was Waikiki level- clearly seeming to capitalize on tourists and not catering to locals in any way. I guess that’s the “Aloha Vibe”. Most items on the menu had a strong Asian flare which was kind of a turn off when looking for something not fishy/seafood inspired. Settling on the burger- was alright although my friend’s son got the keiki burger and they literally looked the exact same with the difference being the toppings. The price being 10 or so dollars difference. I’ve been telling everyone to save their money. The waitress was sincerely lacking as well. They’ll sell you an affogato martini but said twice they don’t do anything for birthdays when we asked if we could just order a scoop of ice cream for the occasion. The waitress was like ‘uh, no we don’t do that’… SO ALL THIS BEING SAID: I would recommend finding a higher quality place for the pricing and surely a better experience overall. The name is misleading.

Happened across this place looking for a sunset dinner to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The food & service were incredible and we had the perfect table on the patio to watch the sunset. We tried the kahlua pork egg rolls, carpaccio of the day, dynamite fries, ahi tuna salad, macadamia hibachi chicken, poke bowl, poke tacos, ube oreo cheesecake. Everything was delicious, probably the best meal we’ve ever had on the 5 years we’ve been to Kona. Small venue so you should make a reservation or expect a wait. We parked in the paid lot across the street. Don’t miss this place!

We've ordered two appetizers, two mains and two cocktails. The food wasn't fresh, kimchi sampler garlic was already starting to get spoiled. The service was very slow. At the end we got the bill with an extra 4% charge squeezed on top as 'credit card fee'. Scam. Just another tourist trap. Not recommended!

Excellent food, service and atmosphere! I highly recommend the egg rolls. If you're looking for a light and refreshing cocktail, try the tropical vodka soda.

Sat at the bar and enjoyed excellent service, friendly staff, tasty libations and delicious food. Definitely recommend a visit as this is one of the best cocktail bars in Kona.

The staff was super kind and attentive, the food was great, the cocktail was yummy. I ordered the Spicy Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl, a water, and one of their signature cocktails.

MUST SEE! I wasn't expecting a fancy cocktail place like this in Kona, which is generally more casual. But the drinks were creative and strong, the food was amazing, the service was wonderful and friendly, and everything feels local and authentic. It's right by the ocean with a nice patio and great views. I cannot recommend this place strongly enough. Open till 10 pm too

We loved this place! It has a great atmosphere overlooking the water. We travel frequently to the islands always searching for the best fish tacos around. This is our new favorite, hands down! Make sure you put the red sweet salsa on your tacos - it completes the taste perfectly. Our awesome waitress said a lot of folks skip that step and she can never figure out why. We have a new go-to spot in Kailua - I guess our days of searching for the best fish tacos is over!!

This was out 2nd time eating at Aloha Vibes, the first time was ok, the tofu salad was wonderful the pork spring rolls were ok, the cocktails were a bit too light on the alcohol, the waitress was fantastic - she made the evening a blast. Last night was a disaster the wine was corked and they explained that sometimes that happens because they have to store it in the hot basement. We had a table of four people and we were served our meals one at a time with 10 plus minutes in between each person being serve, by the time the last meal was served everyone else was done with theirs, when we inquired about why the meals were being served like this the waitress (not the same waitress that was there on our first visit) said this is how a Gastro pub serves meals and when we said that makes no sense, she (just like a robot) repeated the same thing. My coconut shrimp was soggy, the smash burger, pork spring rolls, and ahi tacos were just ok. Sadly as locals this just tells us that like some of restaurants down on Ali'i Drive they have beautiful views but short on good staff, imagination and skill when cooking. I had high hopes for this new place and sad to say it just missed the mark.
