Beach Tree Restaurant

Food was below average for the price. One from our party became ill after eating the pork chop.

This spot is gorgeous! The service is outstanding. I had a great red wine. Everything we had was fabulous! Order anything, you can't go wrong. The bread came with this amazing pesto! And coffee comes with the best little almond cookies. It is not inexpensive, but it is The Four Seasons..worth every penny.

Too bad our experience was less than it should have been due to some negligent parents who let three kindergarten-aged children run wild all over the restaurant, shouting at the top of their lungs as if this very expensive dining spot was just their personal playground. What is wrong with parents like these? The staff seemed helpless, unable to stop the children and unwilling (?) to confront the parents. The food was very good and this restaurant being on the beach had a fabulous view at sunset. But our anniversary dinner was nearly ruined. There was no restitution or recompense, though there were apologies from the staff. We won't be back. Addendum: I do want to give a shout out to our excellent bartender on September 27 who made my husband's favorite Old Fashioned on the island (comparing to Canoe House, Brown's and Merriman's) and our waiter whose last name is Brown and who has been there just a few months. He was very helpful, attentive, and polite.

Great location near the crashing waves. Food is always good but service was tentative. More specifically the waitress never came by after food was served to ask whether the food was fine or whether we needed anything else. We love this place and will be back so our complaint is intended to be constructive criticism.

Sadly our service at Beach Tree was surprisingly poor. The restaurant seemed to be a bit short staffed. More specifically, wait staff should write down menu orders instead of attempting to memorize who ordered what dish, and in what order did the guests request the menu dishes be served. It's far better to get the menu items correct and who ordered what, than trying to impress the table guests with waitstaff memory abilities. We ordered wine but it only arrived after both bread service and a salad course. That's sub par and pathetic for an expensive restaurant. One salad was incorrectly prepared and had to be sent back. One main course entree arrived with the guest only having 2 knives at their place setting and no fork. While the food was delicious, our server was out to lunch even though it was dinner time.

Service was amazing, the setting is on the beach outside with some covered tables and open to the stars tables with the best and most sophisticated Italian food on the island. Highly recommended.

Wonderful restaurant in a picture perfect romantic setting. It was a highlight of our dining experiences on our 3 week vacation. Though a bit pricey for items like drinks and appetizers (not better than those of other lower priced ocean view establishments) I still give the restaurant high marks for its entrees and ambience with live music on the shore next to the restaurant.

Friendly staff, good food. Amazing view location. What we didn't expect was mid September and the amount of children running around from table to grass. Screaming and screeching at the table with parents and staff ignoring them. It was chaos for a while with a few patrons complaining and being told nothing could be done. Kind of ruined a great dinner

Holy smokes this place was a waste of time. The mushroom pasta was lovely but the octopus, eh note worth it. The caviar on the scallops, what a terrible mix with the sauce. Did the chef ever actually taste this dish lol. I'm kind of surprised by everything with this place. It was a Sunday and it wasn't busy at all and the service was terribly slow but pushy and rushed. Our server didn't know the special and price. Couldn't remember parts of it and did a terrible job selling that thing. Overall I would never come back to this place. Maybe for the bar because the drinks were great (but how could you mess that stuff up). The price and quality DOES NOT MATCH. If you're staying at the Four S sure go there because you are so far out from the better restaurants.

As always, the Beachtree restaurant is fabulous! I absolutely love the truffle fries! This time I had the mushroom pizza. It was so big I ate it for lunch and dinner! Great taste! My friends had the hotdog and the fish tacos. Beautiful presentation and delicious too! Will be back again soon!

Precious is an 11/10! You cannot possibly enjoy a more joyful, professional, romantic, quaint family dinner here, without an experience sans Precious. She served us beyond well in general but went above and beyond to meet the needs of food allergies for our family - even outsourcing as necessary to make dishes impeccable. We are forever grateful.

We had a 5:15 reservation and were seated second row for a great view. We started with Captain Ed's Mia Tia and it is citrus forward. I loved to an Old Fashioned and it was amazing!!! A little cinnamon forward which was different but amazing. The octopus and prawns were very tender and flavorful. The Gnocchi was pillowy with cooked cherry tomatoes and fresh mozerlla. I added shrimp which were cooked to perfection. I had chocolate olive oil cakes with a cacao bean gelato!! Definitely an amazing dinner at sunset! 4 stars since there were many tables talking loudly and children running around the grounds by the tree.

The location and restaurant are beautiful, the staff is kind, and the service is fast. However, the food does not meet the standards of the restaurant or the service.

Perfection! Loved the food, the ambience, we had an amazing server. The view was gorgeous. We are taking our kids for a second dinner because we loved it so much.

This is one of my favorite places on earth lol. It's so beautiful! The food is amazing, the service is wonderful and there is no better ambiance!! you're right next to a beautiful beach at sunset. They are so accommodating of kids & family. We come back every year! I secretly hope the world doesn't discover this restaurant because it's our happy place.
