Beach Tree Restaurant

This is on our top 3 restaurants on the island. Food and service were amazing. The atmosphere and view are incredible.

Gorgeous setting, delicious food. They didn't rush us at all. Fun entertainment on Friday nights. A wonderful end to an amazing time in Hawaii.

So-so food that was pretty expensive. Don’t go out of your way to come here but the atmosphere is solid if you’re looking for a nice dinner. You get the beach breeze and, when we were there, there was a live band playing which was great — perfect ambiance without being overly loud.

Great service, best view, and incredible pepperoni pizza. Definitely go. Free self-parking and the perfect spot to hang out on the beach.

Great place to visit for a date night in big island.

Very high quality Italian dishes here. We ordered Arancini and Polpette as appetizer, and they were both very straightforward and traditional recipe but cooked to perfection. I appreciated this very traditional Italian dish with no unnecessary additional flavors added to it (sometimes, it is just SO HARD to find a restaurant that cooks basic dish RIGHT!) but I can also see some people might appreciate a unique flavor with some chef’s touch in a five star hotel restaurant.

My pasta, Lobster Agnolotti, was perfect, too. It also had some unique flavor, and you get almost half a lobster in this dish. I definitely felt that it was worth the price I paid for.

The other pasta dish that my husband ordered was pretty good.

Overall, great experience with good service and amazing beachfront view. I would come back here again.

Cool beach vib with great food!

The place is located just off the beach and tide pools. They had a local newspaper to read. A great place to enjoy a beer or tropical lemonade with lunch.

The view is impeccable, and parking was easy. Valet staff were great. The food is just fine and on par with what you'd expect at a resort restaurant. Food and dessert options are limited, so if you have dietary restrictions, I'd recommend calling in ahead of time to check what the menu is. My biggest problem was with the service - if I remember correctly, our waitress was a middle aged woman named Jodi who might as well have worn a t-shirt that said "I hate you. I don't want to be here". She just had the worst attitude and non-existent service. I went upstairs to fill my water because she didn't come around a single time to fill it. I ordered a soda that also ended up tasting like toilet water.

Very nice casual restaurant inside Kona's Foru Seasons Hotel. Italian based restaurant. Very delicious pizza made from authentic wood burnt oven. Sunset view from the restaurant that is second to none.

It’s definitely a good place for sunset dinner. Being a vegetarian I was expecting a little more in their menu. Unfortunately not much. They do have a full vegan menu but not many options. I still enjoyed the dishes that we ordered. We ordered Bruschetta, burrata, margarita pizza and gnocchi. Their gnocchi was really good. Overall was a good experience. I would still encourage them to have more vegetarian options.

We came here after we got engaged on the resort’s beach. They gave us complimentary glasses of champagne. The food was delicious!

We dined at sunset with our two toddlers and staff was very kind and accommodating. The place is so comfortable, music lovely, views spectacular. Recommend for that splurge meal we all want to experience at least once on vacation.
