Great pizza place in big island . Sadly they aren’t open on weekends and close early on weekdays as well - but was totally worth the drive from Waikoloa for the pizza . Would absolutely come back .

We visited Big Island Pizza and had a really great overall experience. The food was excellent, the service was warm and attentive, and everything came out fresh. That said, the prices felt a bit on the high side, which is the only reason this isn’t a 5-star review.

The staff was super friendly and attentive throughout, which really added to the meal. We felt well taken care of from start to finish.

The food quality and service were both excellent, and we’d absolutely come back. The only downside was the pricing, which felt a bit steep for the portion sizes. Still, if you’re in Kona and want tasty pizza with great service, this spot is worth a visit.

Yes, going out to eat is expensive. But, this place is over the top. A little bit of dough, cheese, sauce and 3 pieces of basil for $28? You order at the counter and they got pissy when I tipped a custom tip of 10%. The pizza was very small. The crap that belongs, pizza boxes, supplies, etc. in the back of the house was piled in the booths. There was no ambiance what so ever. 👎🏻
