This is my Top choice for grear6 food on the big Island! I got the curry lamb with the curry potatoes and the fresh vegetables everything was absolutely amazing vegetables were cooked to Perfection the flavor just made you coming back for more even though you were so full you couldn't eat another bite. My granddaughters got the pulled pork sliders. The plantains were amazing. I got the j*** chicken sliders that was amazing we're about to try the mac and cheese and quinoa salad and oxtails. The chef his name is fish he is absolutely amazing your visit to the Big Island will not be complete without trying Cool Runnings Jamaican food.

Called owner and ask for a chicken (they are item on menu) the man stated , not today I can do it Monday....I'm busy this weekend. So I stated Monday would be fine....he asked me how many chicken's would you like? I said one, he said "naw" I cannot do! I said why not..... you just said Monday. He said he did not have time! I cannot comment on food, but with that type of attitude.....I will never be able to comment on the food. Really sad, as it sounded like a nice place to eat

Food is a bit spicy and really tasty. We ordered brisket and grilled chicken. Both are stewed well thus very juicy.

The best Jamaican Patties ever! The crust was flaky and the meat is like pulled beef. I appreciate that it wasn't ground beef. The highlight of our food eating experience in Kona. The only downside is that the truck closes early but I'm so glad Andre chose to sell the patties to us as he was closing up shop!

Seriously good and authentic Jamaican. The j*** chicken platter was excellent. The j*** sauce is on the sweeter side of the spectrum with a nice bite. The pulled pork wrap was delicious, tender, and Hardy. The Jamaican patties are handcrafted and fantastic.

My favorite is the catfish with curried veggies & platanos fritos. My daughters love his cornbread. Grateful for Fish offering up his vital itals to the ppl of Big I!!!

Best meal we’ve had on Big Island. The owner was so friendly and chill. Those BACON WRAPPED RIBS were so tender and seasoned to perfection. Oh my goodness. And the waffles were so flavourful. Yum yum yum. Do not miss this one~

I stopped here on my final afternoon on Big Island. On the mainland I've had so much Jamaican cuisine, but loved the island flava that chef Fish provided. Everything is made fresh to order the moment I walked up. I throughly enjoyed the chefs conversation about the beautiful islands of Jamaica and Hawai'i while waiting. I wish this had been a stop I made earlier in the trip and that I had ordered more. My child literally snuck my food away from me that evening. When on Big Island again I will stop by.
