WORST BAR IN KONA DO NOT GO HERE. Our experience started out well till we stayed a little too long. They over charge girls especially. They complain when you ask about it and they are willing to scam you for money. Everything was great until we were over charged for drinks that weren’t ordered. If you go here keep track of what you drank because they certainly don’t.

Nice bar in Kailua-Kona off the main strip. You'll see more locals than tourists. Drinks are good, prices better than down on Ali'i.

Great outdoor atmosphere and very friendly service. The Asian food right across from it will even bring you your food!

Great beer in great place. Service is typical dive bar. Order food from Thai place next door and they bring it over.

A playoff game, not an empty seat in the place and only one person working. With no table service was a line at the bar for the over whelmed bar tender

This is just such a cool bar. I was here back in April and loved it!

As a local, this is my favorite bar in town. Roomy and open, plenty of seating for a place its size, and friendly, cheerful employees. The patronage is a diverse collection of mostly local people, and I absolutely LOVE that people can bring their dogs with them! While they have no food services, the Chinese food place next door will deliver right to your bar stool, as will the Thai place behind it.

I love a good dive bar...and this spot is checking all the marks. It's in a newer complex; still rockin it with a golden tee, plenty of tvs and a nice selection of whatever drink you want

We love looking for taverns or hole in the wall places when we travel. Dolphin spit hit the spot. We were greeted by Otis, the coolest dog ever. Watched a little football and chatted with the bartender(s). Very friendly!

I saw some people call this a dive bar- we didn't get that vibe. I've been to dive bars in San Francisco (accidentally) and I don't like them. We loved this place. We arrived around 11am- ish, and we were hot and tired and hungry and thirsty. So we settled down to some cider (passion fruit!) and a porter for my daughter and were told we could go next door for eats to the Chinese BBQ- which we did. Lovely way to spend the early afternoon eating and drinking with our new friend Otis (a very cute dog and a VERY good boy.) We ended our adventure buying tee shirts from the bar- because I loved this place. I love that everyone is friendly, the drinks aren't too expensive, and it's just comfortable. It's clean. There is tons to look at on the walls! And sure, you can watch sports if you want to. But you should make sure to hang with Otis, because he is the cutest dog I saw on my whole vacation!
