“Despite our visit, we were unable to sample any cuisine due to a language barrier with the counter attendant. While we appreciate the establishment’s ambiance and customer base, we were unable to communicate our dietary preferences for halal meat due to the attendant’s limited English proficiency. This prevented us from avoiding potential cross-contamination concerns.“

“This was the best meal I had on the island. I had a bento box with the Kalua Pork and spicy jungle sauce. Great flavor and the serving size was large. Dragonfruit lemonade was also a good treat! Highly recommend.“

“I ordered via the McD App. Food was ready and hot when I arrived. Tasted great!
Note: Don’t get directions from the McD App. It takes you to a vacant site just up the road. Go directly to Apple or Google Maps. This McD’s is in the Walmart.“

“While visiting muggy, muggy, sticky, and did I mention muggy Kona, I was thrilled to see a DQ. Like a mirage in the lava rock desert, there she was!
They're located in the Kona Commons, a newer mall between Kona Airport and Kailua Kona town. The store was clean, and service was friendly and fast.
DESSERT:
Oreo Waffle Cone Blizzard
Mmm, mmm, mmm good and so much better in a creamy, crunchy waffle cone! Clean and very easy to eat because it came in a plastic holder.
OVERALL:
I wish DQ would open back up on Maui!“
