Great service. Server had a very nice demeanor. Patient with us since we were with friends and busy talking and not paying much attention to menu and ordering.

Excellent food and desserts. Great place on the water with a nice view. Really appreciate the Kama'aina menu and the free appetizer and dessert for military ... that's very generous. I still went with the Land and Sea Burger tho. Nico was the best waiter we've had anywhere around the world in YEARS. We will definitely visit Fish Hopper once more before leaving the Big Island. Highly recommend.

As always, the food and service are excellent at the fish hopper! My husband and I always come here when we come to the big island. Our piña coladas are perfect! I had the poke plate and he had fish and chips. We usually go a little more exotic, but we went for something simple this time. We don't leave for five more days, and we will definitely be back for one more outstanding evening before heading back to the mainland. Exceptional service as well!

Our waiter was actually very nice but the person who brought my cocktail to the table spilled it on the table and did not even care about wiping it. Just left. The food was ok, nothing special. I would however recommend this place.

Waterfront Dining Gem. Tropical open air atmosphere. Attentive friendly service. Delicious drinks. Menu offers fresh local homemade dishes! Isabella Pasta loaded with seafood. Macadamian encrusted fresh caught Mahi Mahi the best I have ever had. Chocolate Laliki dessert light and flavorful. Quick walk from Courtyard

I made reservations well in advance for my husbands birthday. As soon as we walked in they asked if we had reservations and I said yes. She said you must be Kelly. They said we have your table ready right here. It was the best table in the house. We were very pleased. The server was great. It was nothing fancy but got the job done. Would probably go again for breakfast or lunch but was disappointed in the seafood. Being from Arizona I had high expectations but the sea bass was overcooked.

Service was superb. Drinks were okay. We ordered the Royal Hawaiian margarita and the Big Island Mai Tai. Food was pretty good. We ordered the ultimate seafood pasta and the Mahi Mahi. Definitely worth another visit to try the other items on the menu.

We always make this dinner our first night as we have to go back before the week is up! Tuna and clam chowder are best

Without a doubt this is our favorite breakfast spot in Kona. Diverse menu with outstanding plates. Great Bloody Mary's (especially with the bacon). Mimosas are just as delicious too. Check out their menu and you're bound to find something you'll enjoy. We enjoy breakfast but will also be dining there for dinner as well.

Dining was just regular , nothing out of the ordinary. Happy hour was only at the bar and I was told by our waitress that we couldn't get a drink at the HH price and bring it back to our table. Hmmm .

Very touristy but one of the nicer stops downtown. We ate here twice and the food and service were better at the bar. Still doesn't hold a candle to the Ocean view inn which sat in this spot for many decades.

This definitely an overpriced and overrated restaurant for travelers. The food is very average and less attractive presentation. However the open windows setting on the ocean facing location is definitely a plus.

Good happy hour. Also went here for breakfast and the food was very good. The service in the restaurant was much better than the service we received in the bar.
