This is AUTHENTIC Japanese conveyor sushi! The food was fresh, delicious, and filling. The service was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere was clean, easy to talk in, and brite. Ordering was easy and the bullet train conveyor was super fun.

The waitress was very rude and accused us of pressing the call button as a joke when we really needed help. The waitress also said we have itchy fingers, and threatened us to wash the dishes. Very bad experience would not recommend this waitress.

Genki in Kona has a different selection than Genkis elsewhere! I had to fly into Kona for a short stay and was craving sushi, esp garlic salmon. Ironically, I had a great misoyaki butterfish here which is not available on Oahu. I hope Genki corporation sees this and brings misoyaki butterfish to all locations. Staff members varied from friendly to cold. The space is so big that I had a hard time getting staff's attention at times. All in all a good dining experience.

Food was excellent. Service could have been better. Staff didn't refill our water cups during our visit. Auntie Roxy was on register and needed help on register. It caused a back up with checking out causing service to be delayed. One couple had been waiting to be seated. They walked out and went to another business.

Although the restaurant could use a bit for decor, the food and service were outstanding. Elijah was a a great server, full of personality! Fish were fresh and generously cut. Aside from the sushi, the ramen and sukiyaki were delicious. We were disappointed that we were given a seasonal menu that was “expired” so we couldn’t order from it. I’ve always been hesitant on eating here because it was a franchise. I thought that being a “sushi” franchise the fish quality would suffer, but I’m definitely wrong.

Nice spot. Good service. The restaurant is almost self serve, which you ordering on your phone and the food rolls out from the kitchen straight to your table. Conveniently the app can be used by multiple phones all the the same people.
This is my son's favorite restaurant, the sushi on trains is a huge attraction. The sushi is reasonably good and consistent. It's a family favorite.

This is a very fun place to take family and friends! The food is really good and they have several options for the non-sushi lover. Depending on who seats you, service can be slow. On the weekends, it also gets quite crowded.

Usually we (my wife and I love the food/service etc. Unfortunately today the food my wife ordered didnt toast so good and was a little rubbery (squid) we go there approximately once per week and other the same meal usually (typically it’s much better) the cashier was not very/happy/professional/kind. The general man who helps fill drinks/host? Is always extremely kind.
