Great options. And a drive though! Highly recommend

Very expensive for bland, microwave-cooked food. Unfortunately, I recommend avoiding this place. I know it's hard to find vegan food in Hawaii, but we need to have some better standards. I'd award 1 star if possible on Happy Cow.

Loved having an all vegan option in Kona. The food was okay, pretty good. We got the crunch wrap and Ceasar wrap. Would definitely go back to the other options. The watermelon juice was REALLY good!

We try to hit this place with every visit to the big island. We love that there is a place where you can have everything on the menu. Lots of smoothie options. The bbq jackfruit items are great. Got a watermelon water too, super yum! The ice cream machine is always down when we visit. 😢

My husband and I had been to herbivores before, so we decided to check it out again. Last time my husband had the jackfruit tacos, and it was great. Maybe he didn't order well this time, but the loco moco was disappointing. It was unimaginative. It was an overcooked beyond burger. They said there was going to be a tofu egg on top, but it didn't look like an egg at all. The soft serve was decent, and it was great that they made it with oat milk, so there was not a ton of saturated fat. I had the ceasar salad with no croutons (for gluten free folks) which I thought was pretty good. I am glad that they offered a gluten free version, but instead of charging the same amount for a meal without the croutons, it would be nice if they had gluten free croutons or charged less for omitting croutons or gave a replacement item for the croutons. The main issue was the service which was not great. There was a girl working at the counter who looked annoyed when I asked her for the parking pass. When we asked the guy behind the counter how he was doing, he said "I just work here". It would be nice if they could at least fake a smile.

Pretty lame experience seems consistent. One dude taking orders not very friendly or helpful. Long waits for a burrito and food is ā€œmehā€ at BEST. I’d give 1.5 stars but rounding down on this one because there are a lot of other places to eat around here.

I originally came here wanting to try a vegan poke, but the chef recommended the POHAKU BOWL CF instead – and wow, it was absolutely delicious! My Friend had the MUSH LOVE BURGER and she was just as impressed. For dessert, we shared the CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER CUP SMOOTHIE, which was simply amazing. On top of that, the chef is such a friendly and welcoming person. Highly recommended!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I understand they were a little busy but we waited 45 minutes for two things a crunch wrap and a BLT. The chips in the crunch wrap are soggy, and the BLT is cold. No sorry for the wait or anything. We used to love coming here, but it’s frustrating Seeing other people who came after us get their food first.

2.5 stars. Food is pretty good. I’m mostly vegan for 13 years. Service is so bad. Often ignored at the counter. Even when theres no other customers. Just did a car pickup and checked for them to bring to my car since I have my baby. They didn’t. I want to keep going here because of the vegan drive through but the service :( If they get better cashiers or training I guarantee they will get more people coming back. Including me.

We tried the dragonfruit smoothie, taro Alfredo pizza, and loco moco. Excellent!

Drove up and was blatantly ignored at the open window. Decided to park and order from the walk up window. Girl at the window was either just being rude or was having a bad day. Either way it was not a pleasant experience and not friendly. Got a smoothie, it was pretty good. I came for the smoothie not the hospitality but was put off a little bit.

I saw this place as I walked toward my hotel on my first day in Kona and I ended up eating here everyday day of my trip. The food is delicious and also more affordable than eating at a restaurant like Journey (a vegan place nearby which also has delicious food). The family that owns this place is super cool as well. We tried the chikn crunch sandwich, pono burger, chikn ceasar salad, and asada street tacos, all tasted amazing.

I got a delicious strawberry shortcake smoothie a few days ago (took 30 mins. to get) so I returned and ordered the same today because it was really good. It took over 25 mins. and I received a green drink with chocolate syrup. I took it and drank it because I didn’t want to wait even longer for the drink I ordered. I should have waited for my drink because it wasn’t very good. The workers are not very friendly, extremely short with customers. If the wait time was cut in half I would return. But when your order is ready they don’t bring it out to you. They set it on the counter or in the fridge and wait for you to go back to the counter and ask if it’s ready. And I don’t like having to ask because it feels like I’m bugging if it’s not ready when I ask.
