Best restaurant in Kona with excellent views. Yes it costs a bit of dosh but one gets their money's worth here. Kudos to Marley(sp) our server.

This place is gorgeous. Amazing location. The servers are super kind and friendly. Sunset destination for sure. The cocktails? The worst in my 45 years. We’ve had amazing Mai Tais on Kaua’i, Maui, Oahu. But this was just sad. Embarrassing. If I owned this business I would be ashamed. It seemed like the bartender was sick and they had a busser or a man off the street working the bar. Someone seemed to have poured Kahlua instead of dark rum in the mai tai. The “special” spicy margarita tasted like Costco grapefruit juice and club soda with well vodka. For 16 dollars a drink it was just deeply disappointing. Like we’re a failing country. Just, so bad.

Below average MaiTai for the restaurant group that owns Kai, On The Rocks, Lava Lava BC. and more.. Also more expensive but more quiet bar atmosphere during happy hour.

Big disappointment
Menu changed from bar friendly to California yuppie and expensive
Lower seating designed for people around 5 ft tall.

One of the more popular restaurants in Kona. the group have many restaurants in the island with differeNotnt brand names. Busy place with live music. Good admosphere. Food are quite good and priced reasonable. Not a lot of wine selections but I guess it is adequate for here. Ample of parking spaces outside the reestaurant. Not bad overall.

Dietary restrictions: Horrible experience, from the waiter to the manager. Waited forever for our food, manager came over and gave us lip service. Won’t be back.

Great spot. We watched the sunset. We ordered the sizzling shrimp along with the arugula salad and garlic toast. Portions were great and the view of the ocean is really great!

A really nice restaurant with a good menu and very nice staff. But the best thing is definitely the view. You sit on a terrace directly above the sea and enjoy a magnificent view, especially in the evening. What was nice for us was that there were also vegetarian options.

Hostess was rude and unaccommodating kicking off to a sour mood. Wouldn't recommend if you are trying to enjoy your evening and unwind or there for a special occasion.
We walked over but the parking situation didn't look great. Better less pretentious places around!

My wife and I chose this destination to spend our anniversary and wow it did not disappoint. The food and drinks were great, and our waitress Hannah was awesome. She was able to help us pick out some great drink choices and nailed it with the desert choice. We enjoyed her so much that we gave her an additional tip. Only wish we could afford to give her more. The scenery was about as good as you can get in Kona. The bar tender was on point. The desert was about 4 times larger than we expected.
Parking: The restaurant takes care of the parking for you.

Excellent food, great service, spectacular views. Hawaiian trifecta, highly recommended for a night on the town in Kona.
