Stopped by here for our breakfast before our flight out of town and it did not disappoint. The French press was one of the best cups of coffee from the trip, the fresh apples juice was amazing and the food was yummy. The highlight was the view, where else can you watch dolphins play in the water while you eat??

We stopped by Lava Java before heading back to Oahu and it was the best decision. Their pineapple upside down French toast was AMAZING. I was torn between the banana macadamia pancakes, but you can’t go wrong with either choice. We also got the luau scramble, which was delicious as well. Great service, and beautiful views. There’s also paid parking behind the restaurant!

So many places with epic beach side dining have average food - Island Lava Java had one of the best breakfasts we ate on the island and the service was suburb. Amazing take on French toast.

This is one of the better options for breakfast in the viscinity. Coffee is about $7 an order (unpictured). The food was not remarkable but was very reasonably priced and with large portions. Our server was responsive and pleasant.

Good option for breakfast. We went twice. They validate parking. The country potatoes came cold which I didn't like at all but I'm hoping that was an oversight.

3.5 stars. Breakfast was good as expected. I had fish of the day Ono. It was okay nothing special. We had Portuguese sausage, pancakes, good sauce btw. Pancakes were average. Eggs seemed better than Cali. Excellent service. Location was good. Pics to be more updated.

Tawney always takes care of my group. We work on the cruise ship and when we come in we always sit upstairs with our girl. It's always a large group and she handles us with ease and a great personality. The food is amazing and the portion sizes are great all with a nice view. Love this place!

Location is great, the service was fast and friendly. They helped quickly with the rain drops falling on our table. Food was not so good… my husband had the fish and chips, it was okay but could be more fish. I had the Ahi poke bowl and was very disappointed.. unfortunately it tasted like nothing and it had more onions than any other product. Wouldn’t recommend these two meals but maybe the others are better.. The sweet potato fries were good.

Just don’t get the Kona coffee here. I’ve come here over the years and the coffee (barista and percolated) is always burnt. They don’t do the Kona beans any justice. The banana macnut pancakes are good, but everything else is meh. You really go for the nice view in the morning.

Never made it past the rude hostess! Atmosphere looks great, but we opted for friendlier service elsewhere. Wish I could write a review for the food.
