This place did not disappoint. Coconut shrimp, goat cheese dip, and pork spring rolls appetizer were amazing. The filet was cooked to perfection and the potatoes au gratin were delicious. The mud pie was amazing for dessert. Service exceptional.
Our family had a wonderful time. We always make a point of going to this restaurant whenever we visit. The food is always delicious and service is great. We think this is one of the best restaurants on the Big Island.
Kai pasta dish was incredible! Service was friendly and quick. All other people in my party enjoyed their fish dishes as well.
Jackie Rey's is one of my favorite restaurants in Kona. After this last time dining there, it is now my favorite!! Excellent food, excellent service!! Thank you!!
Amazing. All around exceptional customer service. Kayla provided a welcoming and warm reception. She has a sweet smile and fun attitude. Loved how she recommended the great food and made sure we were completely satisfied. Will definitely share my experience and tell all to come and enjoy.
Food mediocre. Little flavor. Overpriced for where you get. Filet is a terrible option. Sides were Good but we said we were sharing them. I assumed they'd be on their own plate. Nope. Placed them in our dinner plates. Celebrating my daughter's 16th. They gave her a shell necklace. No candle Nothing. Won't recommend
It's decent. Portion sizes are good. You probably won't leave either hungry or with leftovers. The food is good and better than most of what you will find in Kailua- Kona, but, sadly, it's overpriced. Service was good. The location is good. Facilities are old but fairly well maintained (looks great if you're not looking too hard). If you're not willing to drive very far and you want a nice chef prepared meal, it's probably your best bet.
The food and the staff were awesome. Truly enjoy the time at Jackie Rey's. Strongly recommend!
Great experience! One of my favorite restaurants during our trip. Unique menu, plenty of creative cocktails, nice service. We tried the pork spring rolls, crispy and flavorful. Husband had the lobster pasta and liked it. I had the seafood trio with good portions of coconut shrimp, crab cake and ahi tuna. Loved the pineapple relish with the crab cake.
Lovely setting. Staff were spot on with service. Drinks and food were fantastic! Highly recommend this spot if you are in Kona. It was our friends anniversary and they added to the evening with special pieces for them as well.

I've eaten at this spot multiple times, and with an evolving menu, I've never had anything that was bad. In fact, quite the opposite: the food is fantastic. The only thing better, is the service. If you're looking for an elevated dining experience on the island, while still having a semi casual feel and ocean views, Jackie Rey's is the spot.
The food is delicious and the chef presentation is very upscale. The ambiance is relaxing and comfortable.
Definitely setting a high bar for presentation, flavor, and quality. Parking was a little challenge and Google maps wasn't exact on location.
Always a great meal! Food was fresh and local and drinks were delicious. Looking forward to going back!
It was ‘okay' for a ‘high-end' restaurant. Prices don't really reflect the quality of food
