The restaurant is a great vibe and amazing views. Only negative was the granola yogurt bowl, there’s virtually no yogurt that comes with it. Maybe like one spoonful. But my friend loved the breakfast burrito 4/5.

First time visiting Kai Eats + Drinks. We showed up right after they opened for lunch. No problem getting a table for our group of 6. Also, free two hour parking in the parking garage next door. The host and server were friendly and efficient. There is a QR code on the table for viewing the menu. The entire restaurant is open to the coast, with views from every table. The sound of the crashing waves was great, with a great ocean view. After ordering, we didn't have to wait long for our food. It was all plated well and served up at an appropriate temperature. Our group enjoyed the taste of our food. I would say it was very good. Prices were competitive with the area. I think the food was appropriately priced. The entire restaurant had a good vibe, was clean and comfortable. Our food selections included the kids chicken tenders and fries, Kai original super nachos, carne asada fries, fish tacos and the Jalisco chicken sandwich.

Great ambiance next to the ocean, good food and excellent and gregarious service. If they had a beer category for the review I'd give 10 stars. I had the Red Zeppelin. It's worth coming here just for that

Free parking, no wait for seating, beautiful setting, absolutely lovely waitress, great margarita, fall off the bone ribs, reasonable prices. My carne asada burrito was good with tender well seasoned beef but…the huge quantity of lettuce was weird in this cooked burrito. Soft, wilted, watery.

Descent bar food, waitress slow and didn’t get much what we asked for. Asked a bus boy to wipe off table after we couldn’t get napkins from anyone and rolled his eyes and said can’t you see I’M busy.

🌮 Kai Eats + Drinks – Tacos, Aloha, and a Million Dollar View 🌺If you're wandering through Kailua Kona and looking for a place that captures the spirit of the Big Island in both flavor and feeling, Kai Eats + Drinks is the perfect spot to land.
We ordered the mahi mahi tacos, and they were exceptional, grilled to perfection, layered with fresh island ingredients, and bursting with just the right balance of zest and comfort. But the flavor wasn’t limited to our plates: the breathtaking view from our table stole the show. Picture this — sparkling ocean stretching to the horizon, sun casting golden light across the waves, and a gentle breeze that makes you feel like time has paused just for you. Dining here isn’t just a meal, it’s a memory.
Our server, Haily, added pure magic to the experience. Warm, intuitive, and genuinely kind, she was like a ray of Kona sunshine with a side of impeccable timing. Her recommendations were spot-on, and her grace elevated our visit to something truly unforgettable.
🌟 Verdict: With mouthwatering food, heartwarming service, and a view that belongs in a travel magazine, Kai Eats + Drinks is a can't-miss slice of paradise. Mahalo, Haily — you made our day sparkle just a little brighter.

Great burgers with gluten free buns! Beautiful ocean views and great location. Pizza looked and smelled amazing since we sat right next to them making it, though we didn't get any (no GF crust).
They have a separate GF menu and are good about cross contact. Sweet potato fryer is dedicated, but everything is cooked in soybean oil. Ugh.
Don't pay for parking in the garage downstairs. They pay it for you if you give them your license plate number upon check-in.
Great spot for lunch. Food was decent. Service was a little slow when we were there.

This is another tourist trap. Fish tacos had a sliver of fish and filled with cabbage or lettuce or what ever. The fish and chips had small tiny pieces of fish for $26. Salty fries. $10 for a juicy drink for a child. Plus another $10 for a refill Pretty overpriced for what you get. But I guess most places on Alii drive are this way. Pretty bummed with the quality of food for the price. Server was nice!! And the view was nice. But I will never eat here again and will make sure none of my family does either. LnL drive in is a better option than this place.

This is a fantastic spot to have a meal and drinks right on the water. The prices are good for the value.
Makela made our experience special and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal for the best dining experience.
Drinks were well made, and they have speciality Hawaiian cocktails and mocktails.

A great waterfront restaurant. We were here for dinner on the 4th. Had great seating for the fireworks at 8pm. Service is amazing and the food is quite good. Food is typical fare with island twists.
