Great selection of draft beers, seltzers etc.. Something about it feels wrong when you’re in Hawaii, but the steak nachos are maybe the best I’ve had. Easy parking next door and they validate.

When we were seated there was no one in the restaurant dining area and they tried to put us off to the side where you couldn’t see the sunset very well. Asked to be moved and we were moved over one table that still wasn’t the best view???
Our waitress described the special of the evening “a piece of Ono on a bed of pasta with onions and peppers” but didn’t tell us the price. We ordered it and when it came it was a medium piece of fish that tasted DRY, TOUGH AND CHEWY. Our waitress never came back to ask how the food tasted, because if she did we would have sent it back.
When we got the bill the meal was $40 a piece, which surprised us. Needless to say we were not happy with KAI overall.

Yep, was very nice. Beautiful spot right on the water, very good food and very good service. Really... prob the best spot on the ocean in Kona. Not a budget place... but that's totally OK for what you get (including free parking).

it's alright. make sure you park ONLY in their garage, not a nearby lot, as they validate parking for just the garage. views are nice. service slow. food was basic so didn't bother taking any photos. ordered the Alfredo and a something with a green sauce. also, pizza was ok

Great food, service and a killer view as well. We visited multiple times during our Kona stay. Loved the fish tacs, coconut shrimp and the fettuccine chicken Alfredo. All the dishes we tried during our multiple visits were great! Parking for 2hrs is on the house too.

We went to have a drink by the ocean on their patio, it was a great time and the server was attentive. My poor rating is purely for the free parking they advertise. We registered our licence plate after parking in the smallest stall with concrete pillars on one side. We received a $60 USD ticket because our car was slightly on the line. When we went back to ask the hostess she replied “oh yeah, they are really tough on that one.“ I think they should give you a heads up when you arrive and just give you a warning if you know the parking enforcement is tight.
