Best meal we've had since we were in Italy last summer. Our server Justin was amazing. His knowledge of the menu and great personality made it an experience we will remember for a long, long time. The desserts we awesome as well!

We were pleasantly surprised to find a place that actually takes reservations for dinner. The waterfront seating is quite pleasant with white tablecloths. The service was good, but our server had many tables. A good variety of menu items, but a modest wine list. They were out of both of the offered Cabernets. Our party enjoyed a huge Caesar salad, easily shared by two. The pork scallopini was reported to be very good. The lobster penne bake, a lobster tail on a bed of penne pasta, was deemed great! Those entrees were accompanied by a bottle of decently priced Somoma Cutrer Russian River Ranches Chardonnay. The third entree was the New York steak, baby potatoes, veggies, and was a full plate full. The steak was tender, but the added spices/rub or whatever produced a bite that overpowered the tastes of what would otherwise might have been a delicious steak. With no Cabs available, the Merlot offering could not stand up to the meat. A three-way share of a Mac-nut/chocolate torte...yummy! A good location overlooking the ocean, two of the three entrees were very good, and the steak was the exception. To be out of two Cabs at the same time was disappointing. Validated parking is now a huge plus. We would go back.

The food was delicious! However the evening that we dined, there was an argument between two employees that started with shouting and possibly some punches being throw. It then led to the one employee sweeping everything off a table and glass going everywhere. The same employee then ran and jumped over the fence into ocean and making a scene from the ocean. It was a very scary situation for those of us dining. Hoping that this was an isolated situation, but it really ruined everything for us.

Kai Eats and Drinks is in a great location in Kailua Kona. Great views and good selection of beers. We were there for Superbowl, ended up sitting at the bar at our request to be closest to the TVs. We had the Marguerite pizza which was okay. Bar was understaffed, especially for Superbowl, somebody didn't get the memo. Minimal bar and wait staff got slammed which caused unnecessary employee and customer frustration.

One of the hidden gems in Kona. The new Italian Dinner menu is awesome and one never gets tired of the atmosphere. Listening to the ocean an added plus. White table cloths a great touch too! Went back with friends Sunday Night who had not been there in awhile. They loved it also!

Exceptional table with direct ocean view. Service was great. The food was great too but my fish was overpowered by the pasta with vodka cream sauce. Also, way too much pasta. The coconut dessert was light, creamy, and delicious. Will definitely come back again.

The food was great, the views even better. Our server Makela was excellent, and the fact that they give you two hours complimentary parking is perfect. Loved this place.
Great selection of draft beers, seltzers etc.. Something about it feels wrong when you’re in Hawaii, but the steak nachos are maybe the best I’ve had. Easy parking next door and they validate.
