Absolutely no Aloha here. Seriously disappointed and disgusted with how we were treated. Went with my family and as we're sitting there taking our time drinking our kava, the male bartender, who appears to be getting high with his buddies who are just hanging out talking very loudly and not ordering, he tells us basically if we're not buying more then we're not welcome to stay. Really? But your friends are huh? Didn't know aloha was all about the money and exclusion. And I'm sorry, but I thought it was normal to sit at the establishment whose cup you're using. Stupid thing is, we probably would have ordered more once we were done with what we had, but instead we asked for a to go cup for the rest of our drink and left. This bartender is an embarrassment for the company and Hawaiian culture. I had taken a new family member here to try it out, but this will be our last time going.

almost hostile and a bit creepy dude serving. But hey If that’s no big deal to you don’t let me deter you. I had looked forward to learning about the kava/awa they serve here. When I asked the difference between the two types of kava on the board he slurred, “they’re just words”. The convo went on like that And I couldn’t get a straight answer out of him. Kava was very weak as well. Barely noticed any numbing and the relaxing effects were pretty much unnoticeable. Maybe with a few more 8$ shells…

Literally walked upn to order a drink , my husband was just standing there eating his ice cream and male.emplpyee yelled at us saying you can't eat that here. I informed him I was getting a drink to go and he said he didn't care . He was very rude and we left. If that's how you treat customers we don't want to give you our business. We literally were standing there for 10 seconds. He was a jerk .

This is such a great small laid back restaurant with amazing Hawaiian food. Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The Kaula Pig plate is the best.
The vibe is great! We ordered Lau Lau plate and pork plate. Both are yummy.

I was excited to see laulau on the menu and told my fiance to look at the menu to see what he would like online since the employees buddy he was talking to was blocking the outdoor menu. He sat down to look up the menu on his phone and the employee yelled at him that he couldn't sit. No tables were occupied by the way. My fiance said he was just looking at the menu really quick. The employee yelled no outside food... Which was confusing because we were going to eat there. Emphasis on the were because we didn't due to the nasty employee. Not surprised to see other people ran into bad customer service also.
