Great food, quality and just love the atmosphere. Highly recommend. The location is amazing but then what's not beautiful in Hawaii.

Seafood was very fresh and live. They set up everything for the bbq. Also have eating tools, spices and sauces provided. Very convenience and clean. Staff onsite are friendly and nice. Help me order and prepare the food, and provide cooking tips. Very helpful. First taste abalones sweet and tender. Not chewy at all. Love it and will go back again.

Just bring yourself and everything you need for a bbq feast is readily prepared. Walk-in menu is limited to seafood only, be sure to make reservation a day ahead to access its full menu. Everything was yummy, we went back again and ordered more abalone from the food truck before our flight home. Big shout out to Ando-san who had made our experience an even more enjoyable one!

They are still building their BBQ part. Provide you a grill and you purchase different grilling packages. They give you seasonings but you need lemon, butter salt to go with your lobster, shrimp and other shell

My son's a chef and we were celebrating a teenage birthday. Tried a risk on this new service and it was great. All the tools and seasonings and this great mango sauce. They Taught him how to cut and grill everything. Easy to find location. This is great! Highly recommend! We did it all in about 90 mins

Kona Barbeque is a unique and fun way to enjoy super fresh Kona seafood, outdoors, grilled just the way you like it. You order your seafood (or meats and vegetables) and the team fires up the grill for you and then you DIY grill it up as you like. Enjoy dining in the open air, under a canopy, next to the Big Island Abalone farm. It's a casual affair, and expect some airplanes and helicopters overhead, but it really feels like a home barbeque experience. Try the delicious smoked guava sauce and chimmichurri sauce, and homemade spice mixes. We loved the fresh shrimp and oysters, the abalone is an unusual and delicious treat, and the kanpachi fillet is fantastic grilled. We'll definitely come back and bring friends!
