Great food big portions affordable price

This review is for the assistance I received from the lovely lady at the front. I inquired about a few plates and asked about gluten free options. She was so nice. She recommended I go a few doors down to an establishment that was more allergy friendly. She said a couple of the items I wanted to enjoy at L&L were sadly not gluten free. I appreciated the honesty, and what ended up being a great recommendation. Mahalo!

It's a good meal with ample portions.
I ordered BBQ mix and chicken cutlets and it was enough for a family meal with two children.
We especially recommend the BBQ mix that includes short ribs.

This place should be featured on Triple D for sure. It's more dive than anything but the food was fantastic! We had the Hawaiian BBQ pork plate and the Seafood Combo. I love that the seafood combo plate also includes your choice of meat in addition to the fish and shrimp. I got the BBQ chicken option. The caramelization on the chicken is magic for sure. There's so much meat served it can feed a whole family. Everything comes with sticky white rice and macaroni salad, both of which are delicious, too. Being from the mainland, we had to also try the Masubi with Spam. I recommend this place for a meal when you're very hungry.

Loved this place for breakfast during our Kona vacation! It was cheap, lots of delicious protein options, quick, and open early. My husband and I would split an egg breakfast meal, get bacon (usually get 6-7 strips), and hash browns (they give 2) and it cost us just under $7. Very generous with portions when the cafe just down the corner was charging $14 for just a breakfast sandwhich.
