So bad. We got the big bone kalbi and various pork plates and the meat was so tough and SO salty. Side dishes were of pretty terrible quality as well. As a korean person, it was extremely disappointing and frustrating to pay ~$15-20/ plate for poorly made food. It’s also so misleading that there are two restaurant names for the same place - “Broke Da Mouth Grindz” and “Ma-shi-tah Korean BBQ”. They must have merged the two restaurants together at some point, but both Yelp pages lead to the same unfortunate food.

Sorry didnt like it. Limited side orders. Over priced kal bi . $18 My white boy kim chee better than there's and the side seaweed seasoned with vinegar and sugar. Kona in desperate need for authentic korean bbq. Honolulu has many great ones. So well just keep waiting... sorry and forgot to say the photos are dark you cant see what your getting.

My brother and his friends are here and said it was the best food they had on the island. Obviously this isn’t fine dining but you get more than your money’s worth here easily. The bulgogi beef and mixed plates were exquisite. The server should be on the Olympic track team because he was literally running around helping them.
The very good--the food, especially the chicken Satisfactory--the service which was quite prompt Could be better--the ambiance, as the restaurant is in the midst of a light industrial area and the view consists of warehouses and parked machinery

Very good Korean food with excellent service. They also have American comfort food like fried chicken and philly cheese steak sandwiches. Friendly owners. This is definitely a must go to place while in Kona. Reasonable prices.

We love Koran BBQ and this place was good! Its a hole in the wall kinda place. They don’t offer sides like in a most places but still worth trying. They plates come with rice. Price is good too! Keep the big island local try this place.

This place was phenomenal, my favorite was the mixed plate it was delicious delicious fantastic excellent place to eat the food was fantastic the Servant was fantastic and nice not too much of a good seating so the best thing to do is order to go but all around excellent I recommend this place for lunch dinner it’s fantastic and I was in love

If you looking for the best Korean food on earth this is the place to eat. Fantastic owner very nice and friendly but the prize is in the food !!!!! Awesome cannot brag on it enough !!! Grab a combo plate and enjoy
