Really nice farm and gift shop. The free tour is relatively short but informative and shows you all the processing equipment which was interesting. Lots of cute merchandise (especially if you like cats!) and samples of all the coffee roasts. Be advised if you are scuba diving, it’s at about 3500 feet!

We stopped by Mountain Thunder Coffee Plantation while exploring Kona and it ended up being a highlight. Free tour, super friendly staff, and lots to learn about gorwing and roasting. Great coffee tasting kona and a peaceful cloud forest setting.
Mountain Thunder Coffee Plantation was awesome, staff was really freindly, coffee farm tours interesting and honestly one of the best kona coffee farms around.
Awesome stop for the coffee aficionado. The tour is short and very sweet, the gift shop is great, and the coffee is amazing. Definitely worth visiting.
Found this place while searching orthodontist near me and ended up loving the coffee farm tour and tasting, super relaxed staff, great views and generous samples. Will definitely come back.
We visited the Thunder Mountain Coffee Plantation while visiting the Big Island. They're neat and organized business really fits the agra/ tourist model. They were doing free tours while we were there, and had a small store showcasing their products. I picked up a bag of their whole bean Expresso Dark which has good flavor , is very smooth, only not as bold as I would have imagined. Good stop while visiting , very nice landscape and flowers.

I came up the hill with a friend and it smelled like fresh roast right away and the crew was super nice. Love the quick tour and the free tasting and the misty forest vibe made it feel special.

Great experience. Fantastic tour guide, very informative. Love walking the grounds. Cute gift shop. Beautiful location. Go early if you want clear skies. Will be cloudy and maybe rainy in the afternoon.
