Awesome experience. Stopped in around 430 and the place was pretty empty and got a table quickly. Heather was our waitress and boy was she perfect. Gave great recommendations (taco, Cobb salad, and fish and chips) and all were great. My two kids enjoyed the taco salad and the chicken quesadilla. This was a welcome experience and exactly what we needed. Also gave great recommendations on things to do in the area. Thank you from a vacationer.

Went here a couple times while in Kona for spring break with some of my sorority sisters and everyone was so friendly and the drinks were great! It was the only place in the area with people on a Monday night and they had karaoke! We went back on Wednesday and were greeted with the same hospitality and there ended up being a dj later in the night
I been coming to play pool for years now and last night was the last night. The employees that are not working but hanging out are rude and will make you feel uncomfortable. I don't know his name but I seen him with an ocean shirt local with long hair was yelling the f word to everyone singing and in his way at the pool table. Also Last night I saw an innocent man get beat up by the oceans staff at the pool tables. I would not come here if you're not local or friends with the staff.

This is a hidden gem! It’s hidden behind other restaurants and bars and so not very easy to spot but if you do find it, you will not regret it. We tried the $6 all day every day Mai Tai’s and they did not disappoint! At that price, they did not skimp out on the alcohol and it tasted amazing!We also tried the grilled mahi mahi and grilled shrimp tacos and both of those items were awesome! Their Chipotle Aioli on those tacos totally blew them out of the water!The staff was very friendly & attentive and was very patient with our million questions and also gave some tips and tricks that we found very helpful!Unfortunately we discovered this gem towards the end of our trip and won’t be able to make another stop on this trip but this is definitely on our list anytime we return to the big island.
Oceans is a standard resort restaurant. Their corn shells for Mexican are made on premise and were very good. The tacos we good, slightly above average/normal. The chips were stale, and the guacamole was slightly below average.

The atmosphere and the service here are wonderful. This is a sports bar in the main part of Kona. Come here to eat or watch the game, but do your drinking and elsewhere. They tend to always short change the tourists by filling their glasses full of ice instead of alcohol. I specifically asked for easy ice in my margarita and this is what I get. The waitress said the bartender made it fancy looking and yet it didn't even fill my previous glass.I don't go out to drink to have fancy alcohol. Hence the reason for a 3 star rating

Food was great. It was Taco Tuesday and I got a piled high taco for $4.95. There was enough stuff on it for 2 tacos. The $6 mai tais were yummy and the chips and queso were so good I ordered a second batch to take home. Service was a little slow but that seems to be most places. There's pool tables if you fancy a game. Great location on the main strip. Good prices.

Atmosphere plus. Went to watch basketball games on TV had CC. No sound but great to watch. They were very accommodating what we wanted to watch. Food was great and MaiTais really good for just 6 bucks! Burgers really good and big! Even the recorded music was great.
