Shop selling delicious local chocolate and other candies as well as coffee, liquor, and milkshakes. They gave us an ice pack with our chocolate as we shared we were walking back to our cruise ship. Highly recommend them.

I had the frozen hot chocolate. I can't recommend enough of you like chocolate. It was perfect for a hot afternoon of exploring the island. The gift store had a ton of stuff to choose from. The employee that helped me at the register was very friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions about the drink I ordered plus the alcoholic ones I was hoping to get back to taste (alas I didn't make it back this trip). The chocolate is amazing. Haven't had an opportunity to try the drinking chocolate I brought back to the family yet. Looking forward to it though. Great atmosphere and additional seating upstairs if you don't want to sit at the bar or in a booth on display.

An outpost of Puna chocolate where you can purchase their chocolates and other products grown in 8 regions of the Big Island.I was previously at the location in Hilo, which was lovely. The customer service at this location (on the day I visited) was lacking; I asked the sales person about tastings and she just said "no" and stared at me. A bit of a weird interaction, especially because the signage in the parking lot specifically states "samples".However, the products are fabulous and I loved their sipping chocolate at the Hilo location.Edit: I'm not sure how else to reply to the company's comment. I was at the Kona location, 2/13/24 just past 8am. I asked about tasting in general; I didn't specify.

What a find!! Go to the bar and have a luscious drink, so many to choose from. As you're enjoying that, get the Kona map where they put various pieces of chocolate from various areas in Kona and ask you to rate them. Afterwards, stroll through the store and get the best chocolate ever.They take their chocolate very serious and with one bite, you can tell.
